I just rode my 200th Coaster!

Funny of how you plan and plan and plan for your 200th ride being a landmark in your record book. Sometimes, it just backfires on you because of park distance and time.

Well, I am happy to report that the big number 200 was......(drum roll please),,,,,

WACKY WORM at Myrtle Beach Grand Prix

What a landmark ride!

Haha. Congrats. I think I'm going to get up to 200 by the end of the year. I'm moving from Lexington, KY to Windsor, CT at the end of this semester which will open up a whole new coaster area for me. I'm prety excited.

John,

Congrats!

Sounds like what happend to me. I was on a big trip last year and totally forgot when I would reach #350. To make a long story short, after a group of us left Seasame Place, I realized I just rode my 350th. =:^)

-Sean (who thinks his 400th coaster could very well end up to be his 100th wood at the same time, but that all depends on where he goes in the next two months)

One things for sure, is that sometimes you just can't remember if you left something out or you were too young and forgot about it.

Congratulations, John! I'll probably hit #200 this year, hopefully during the ACE Europe trip UK week.

(I just tallied #s 136-138 this weekend, with 138 being Taxi Jam at PKD :) Wicked Twister and the Indiana Beach coasters will definitely be added, but I'm not sure what else I'll be able to hit before July.)

I may hit #100 this year. I should make it something big. My #50 turned out to be Kumba and that rocked!

congrats, john! I got #150 at PPP last year (OK, so it was HSTC, but it was surprisingly good). #151 was Nitro on Columbus Day (kinda like Bacardi 151, smooth and powerful). Just got #152 at Old Town on the WindStorm, man does that drop off the MCBR...

bill, hoping to hit 200 by the end of the "season" (whatever THAT means)

John, my #200 turned out to be Flying Unicorn at IOA. I kind of like to have odd coasters as milestones.

Congrats on hitting your 200th Coaster. I have actually just very recently Hit my 100th Coaster, and it was quite a suprise to learn it was actually AIR at Alton Towers, WOW what a coaster to make the 100th, Certaintly a very special moment, and I even had a mini celebration after I came off :)
I have also ridden Colossus at Thorpe(101st) and Shockwave at Drayton(102nd) also with a bit of luck, by the end of 2002, My Coaster total should reach about 150-160(I'm taking a trip with the ECC to go and visit nearly every park in California in June) and with an even greater bit of luck, I should hit nearly 200 coasters by the end of 2003(Hopefully I can pull it off)

Congrats! I am still working on 100. My 100th coaster will be at PKD next year unless BGW adds one more coaster for next year. I will be up to 94 this summer and then next year I will be adding the ones from BGW and PKD.

Mamoosh,

I like when that happens also. My 100th was Hercules at Dorney by accident. There is a very good chance that #400 could be another odd coaster. LoCoSuMo!!

John I'm still laughing....maybe it's cause I witnessed it! :) Hey, as long as I can stay ahead of ya......I was very lucky to have Timbers #100 and Darien's Viper #200. But a coaster is a coaster, and a Taxi Jam can be just as fun as a CCI!

Dan,

Wasn't your 50th coaster FoF at PKI or was that someone else? If so, I think that is pretty cool. Why not make 150 one of the outdoor verstions? =:^)
