I got in a car accident and can't tell anyone.

It would be great if there was a forum for coasterbuzzers that could maybe update everybody if something happened to them. I, unfortunately learned the hard way.

Last Wednesday, I was in a pretty severe car accident and have been in the hospital since. They don't have AIM at the hospital and the nurse snuck this computer in for me and I'd like to tell everybody where I am and what happened.

Please, if I haven't talked to you personally and you are offended by this or dislike it because it's not coaster related, I'm really sorry, but I don't think you can imagine what I've been through and it would bring so much relief to know that you know I am okay.

My injuries include 3 broken ribs, a punctured lung, a lacerated spleen and liver (I know I'm probably murdering the spelling of these things) a bruised pancreas, abdomin, and bowel. I was doing really well and thought I was going home today, so I could update everybody I care for, unfortunately, I have begun to bleed internally again and won't be out of the hospital for quite a while, major set back!

So, if you know me, I'd love to hear from you, if you don't, I'd also love to as well. Thankyou for your patience and please keep me in your thoughts.

I don't know you personally, but as a fellow coaster enthusiast and member of Coasterbuzz, I'm sorry to hear about your accident and the injuries you've sustained.

Being in hospital is never enjoyable and delays in being released are very dissapointing, but they are usually for the best. Besides, you should never ague with the Drs. They might spike your medication...or make you eat hospital food!!!! ;-)

Your Park only has 1 good coaster! That's too bad!

When bad stuff happens, people need each other. Nothing wrong with that. We've been through it here before with everything from 9/11 to the Holiday World accident. No worries.

Dood, I was wondering where you were! I was in an accident on the way to Dollywood one time and that totally sucked and set me back for a week or so. Feel better so we can talk about more weird R-rated movies you're not even allowed to rent... ;)

Here is to hoping for a speedy recovery. Obviously due to your injuries most likely you wont be riding coasters when you get out. But dont worry most of them will still be there next season!

Dude, hope you are better.:) Glad you survived. You will have a great story to tell at campfires someday. Hell, I still talk about the time I got hit by a car, and had 2000 lbs of sheetrock fall on me. Great times!

Don't rush things when you get out of the hospital. Make sure you are 100% before getting on coasters or whatever else you enjoy doing.

Of course you can visit a park but you must play the role of coaster chicken. ;)
