HW 2009

^It's been mentioned several times in this thread that the rest of the capital will go to improvements in the Legend Lot and shade structures in Splashin' Sarafi.
Come to think of it 3.1 million might seem like a lot but for a new access road, cities first ever stoplight, improvements (I am assuming paving, and extra lighting) to the Legend lot, and sunshades in Splashin' Safari, not to mention miscellaneous extras placed in the budget. That 3.1 gets ate up pretty quick.

Then again, maybe they are just holding off on the announcement for "Kombora!"

Mind you, even a tiny difference, such as that between 0 and 0.000126, can make a world of difference.
Maybe they are building one huge sunshade that covers the entire waterpark.

For you Simpsons fans I think it will look like that episode where Montey Burns builds one that blocks out the sun entirely! That might account for the 3.1 million really quick. :)

Just a hunch, but I think woohooboy wants a proslide rocket.
^He's not the only one. I was sort of hoping that would be the addition for 2009.

Yeah I know, I want one too. It is just that not everyone puts it in EVERY post they make.
And not everybody gets what they want. "Kombora" is not the only thing I want. Just the only thing I want that has a name that works really well with their theme. I would love them to get the Moser EnergyWinder, but as many have said it does not "fit" the park. Personally, I think it could work, maybe even call it "Squanto's Last Ride," see now you know what I mean by a name that works. The park is showing that they are not afraid to install high thrill rides, or even somewhat scary rides. I would not be surprised if large flats are in the future.

I am betting on a fun thrill ride for 2010, too. I just wanna ride Pilgrims Plunge first.
I would like to hear more about this Holiwatch, We still really have not heard how it works. I really hope it has roaming identification. What I can't figure out, how will it know who is who. Will each family/group have a different set of numbers? Then how do you identify which person is which. Say a kid gets lost from Dad or vice versa go to Holiwatch station, it says the location of 4 people in your group, what if kid does not care where his sister is and just wants to find mom? How does it identify which is mom? (this is all assuming the kid can actually see the screen at the Holiwatch station) Which poses will these stations be available for a childs use or just parent members? I mean there are little people that visit the park. Is this info WE have to plug into Holiwatch station, or can we call ahead and have Holiwatches ready for our family/group? Its kind of a complicated program, and nothing has really been explained. PAULA, your turn to post... *** Edited 8/31/2008 6:49:53 PM UTC by woohooboy***

Paula is on vacation. I doubt she will post anything until Tuesday.

I don't think there done. Check out the Holiblog. A direct reference to a previous blog post where they talked about a very tall dad and his two small daughters. Hmmmm!?!?!

Maybe we have counted out "Kombora" way too early.

What color are the skies on the planet where you live, woohooboy?

All of the colors in the light prism, of course depending on the time, angle of perception, and other elements. Whats it like to have black skies all the time there in Mooshworld?

Moosh's world is more colorful than you know! ;)

What makes you think that just because Paula MAY be hinting at something that it is a rocket?

My take on Paula's post is: Have you gone back through the Holiblog posts leading up to the announcement to see how the clues matched up with their 2009 plans?

I think she brought this one up, just to see if anyone could figure out how Korey from Gravity Group could be related to Pilgrims Plunge. I'm sure most people figured out that the clue was when she said he could possibly be the WORLDS TALLEST COASTER DESIGNER. The world's tallest roller coaster is Kingda Ka - its designer is Intamin.

Speaking of hints.....I heard a distant toll that said he was about to release the cat out of the bag........but that is for a different thread.

Let the good times roll - Zingo

Nothing makes me think it may be a rocket, but I do think "Kombora" does sound like a good daughter name.

However, to be the small daughters of a dad (Plunge) would they not have to be water attractions?

I actually didn't mean to make an Intamin reference; it was just a "world's tallest" hint.

So are the two daughters part of the hint or not? I assumed as you allowed it as a comment on the blog that it was a "new" hint. Please be some water rides or slides. I am thinking as daughters to a ride that can be boarded from both sides of the park that it would be nice to see dueling rocket slides that you can board from both sides. I think the daughters names could effectively be "Kombora" and "Matokeo" which would mean "rocket slide." Please Will you Paula please at least will you Please Will you pass this on to Will. Just my 2 cents.
