Ohio (obviously) - Kentucky - Indiana - Pennsylvania - Virginia - Tennessee - Illinois - California - Nevada.
Nine for me. But a more important goal for me is to at least visit every state (and I'm not talking about airport connections). I've got 26 so far.

I have been also been to North Carolina, Louisiana, Michigan, and Illinois but didn't get the chance to go to any parks while I was there. Oh well, looks like it gives me another reason to go back!

I've been to 24 states, so I haven't ridden coasters in 9 of them. And according to this map, I have both visited and lived in Tennessee at the same time. ;)

This makes me wonder a bit -- how many states have y'all been to in which you've not ridden a coaster?
Edit: I just noticed on the same map that Arkansas is not part of the continental United States. Yet it is, as well. Go figure.

By the end of the year I'll be adding Massachusettes and Connecticut in there, as well.
I've been through a lot of states that I didn't ride in (even though I got to see a couple of coasters/parks) on my job related cross country trip this year. :(
NY, IN, Iowa (no idea what the abbrev. is), Nebraska, CO, not to mention the one's I have ridden in (OH, PA, MO, IL).
I've also been to Washington, Arizona, Utah, VT, NH, Mississippi, Alabama, ME, NC, I think I've been to Wyoming, RI, Hawaii, Alaska and never ridden in any of them.
