I've ridden in Illinois, Wisconsin, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, New York, and Virginia. That's 12.

26, just over half: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NV, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, TX, UT, VA, and WA. Plus I've ridden in British Columbia, Mexico, and France.

FYI, the following 9 states do not have any coasters currently operating [according to rcdb]: Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming.

I'm pretty sure Hawaii does not have any coasters either.

The only coaster RI has is a kiddy coaster. That doesn't really count either.
