Met quite a few people from around here, think even a few that I met then found out they were here. Gotten to know just a few people quite well. I'm even going to visit Natalie (AirtimeSROS) next weekend! Hey RobCoasting (yeah that's you Vacarro) you forgot me, you know, the other one who got fogged out at PPP!

We'll get those kids from Chicago...

Since we are practically in the off season, I thought I'd dig some fun threads up to pass the doldrums. Don't let this one get out of hand, or the mighty "closing" hand of Jeff will befall us. ;)

Since I spent this entire year digging out new friends, all of whom are Coasterbuzz members, I thought it might be fun to see who we have actually run into over the season. I feel very fortunate to count many of you as friends, and not just aquaintances. Ever since SRM, I know I have people I can rely on for friendship, and comraderie, and we've had a chance to see it all. From the death at SRM to the end of the season at PPP, it's been a great ride. I never thought I'd attend an enthusiast event, honestly, because there are so many bizarro freaks, but heck... I guess I got lucky, because I didn't meet one person that I wouldn't want to hang with.

...Okay, I did meet a few that I wouldn't want to hang with, BUT, for the most part. ;)

Hmmm, still don't know many buzzers...Then again, I only get one or two trips away from Visionland and SFoG a year, so my opportunities are kind of limited.

I did see a lot of you walking around or standing in line at SRM, but that is such a far cry from "knowing"

I've had the pleasure of meeting tons of buzzers in person and many just by AIM. As Rob mentioned, I don't think I've met a single one that I wouldn't want to hang out with (although I haven't met too many 13 year old AOLers at the parks for one reason or another). It's great to have a community that shares an interest here rather than a bunch of people who just care about spouting facts and flaming.
