How many of you buzzers know eachother?

When Walt stared at him across TGFridays all glassy-eyed or sat next to him on MF, then he got nervous.

Brent,

I guess you could spell my name "............"

I know you spilled the beans to at least Dawn and I... but we'll never tell!

Speak for yourself Danny, I can be bought. ;)

Danny, btw, is the buzzer I talk to the most who I haven't met yet. Congratulations.

So the first buzzer I met was Gator (and still, I went ahead and met more ;) ), and the most recent buzzer I've met was ApolloAndy, to you two and everyone in between, it's been a pleasure. This all kind of started for me last year when I bought Moosh's Christmas cards and subscribed to CB (25 cents for the endorsement please, Jeff ;) ), so I guess you could say I buy my friends, but you all know you're priceless. <gag> :)

'Bought' isn't the word. Rented? Lent out?

Dawn would do anything for a buck: Lick a flagpole in winter, a booger off your finger, upload bootleg unmasked 'Playa photos to the forums...

I was fortunate enough to have met ThemeDesigner, Kick The Sky, nasai, Peabody, and vacoasterfreak during the weekend of SRM.

Mike, and the timing couldn't have been less thrilling, whatwith the death announcement and all. That was pretty strange. One minute we were knocking the band, and how to take over for a sit-in, and the next thing, we are all hanging our heads in silence.

Next time I get to Baltimore, let's hang. Anybody who uses Vater is ok in my book. ;)

Definitely, Rob! I was sorry that I was out of town when you and Jeff went to SFA during PPP weekend--I would've liked to meet up with you guys there. :)

Although if I weren't out of town, you would've seen me at PPP--maybe next year. :(

I didn't get to meet you, Bill, but I'm sure I saw you a couple of times. SRM being my first event, I was continually surprised to keep hearing people calling my name...and then I realized that the latter half of yours is quite phonetically similar to mine. ;)

The only buzzard I knew moved away to US Virgin Islands. Oh well, there is always beastbuzz next year.

Playa, you mean your name isn't Denzel Lee Snipes? ;)

No, I told you Wesley "Walter Payton" Murphy, ya jackass! Yeesh!

Are you sure it wasn't Laurence L. Jackson (LL for short) you were using? I guess you got tired of being confused with Samuel Fishburn.

I've met quite a few buzzers at various events. I'd adopt STChick if she'd let me, even if she IS going to State. Nasai and Peabody were a blast at CP this summer, and I love spending time with heyisntthatrob and kristen who are just as crazy as I am. They taught me how to make even the slowest coasters fun (stroke...stroke....stroke...)

Jeff and Stephanie got me to embarass myself playing DDR at Beastbuzz...but I SWEAR I'll get better before beastbuzz next year.

And there is TheRealCP, but we were friends before she became a coasterbuzzer.

Well let's see... I know Sarah Jackson (formerly NoLimitChic) pretty well. I met many great people at events this year like Mike Buscema (Vater) and his wonderful fiance, Bill (Gator), vacoasterfreak and his friend's name that escapes me but I saw him at CB Con and SRM. I also met a bunch of people briefly like Mamoosh, STChick, Nasai, Chitown, Stephanie and the list goes on. Everyone I met has turned out to be awesome individuals who I wouldnt mind spending the day at a park with again in the future.

Sheesh, this thread is old... I can't even remember if I've posted before. ;)

Since I never go to enthusiast events, I've hardly met anybody, but through media events, I've met and/or gotten to know a few people, such as Sean F., Rideman, Jeff, Shaggy, Dan, and probably a bunch of others that I don't remember.

I keep trying to hook up with jimmybob, but he keeps blowing me off. ;)

LOL Den...I was thinking the same thing and I'm too lazy to look thru the four pages. Let's face it, tho...I'm a loud mouth, I post to a lot of boards, and I travel a lot. Suffice to say I've met a ton of enthusiasts.

Moosh? You? A loudmouth? Naw, my fine feathery friend. Feathery, as in flies all over the country to attend events. Friend, as in one of the best I have ever made, and who got me to attend my first event. Without SRM, I wouldn't have made many of the friends I have today. It would have all been online chats, etc. As much fun as that may be, I prefer the company of flesh and blood, heavy on the flesh. ;)
