dose it matter if there's period's or not people need help with there park not to be judged on there writing grammar wasn't going to be perfect you can't read something cuz there's no period's
When you agreed to post on this forum, you agreed to at least try to use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. Other forums don't really care and become a wasteland of name calling, trolling, flaming and idiocy. We like this forum the way it is, and the way it is involves correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
It honestly takes me four or five tries to understand anything you post and I'm not sure why I put in the effort. Actually, I do know why - I like the fact that this forum is civil and intelligent and I hope new people will come and appreciate and participate in a civil and intelligent way.

LOL to Josh an Vater!
I like the reply in these occasions that if you want us to respect your post, at least have the self-respect to make it legible, or something along those lines. Can you guys imagine if all of us posted like this kid?

My old saying was, "If you don't respect your own ideas enough to make sure they're understood, then how can you expect anyone else to show those ideas any respect?"
Seems it's about as selfish as you can get. "Figure out what I mean and then give me an answer."
Yeah, I don't think so.
You people are know help I guess you all like arguing over peoples post they [url][url] answering there questions. seriously
The key to getting us to take your post seriously is to be awesome enough to type a coherent sentence. If you want our help then just take your time and try to ask us the right way. Your reward will be our respect, kind of.

Ok, what's with the seemingly random bolding of everything?
Oh, and it amazes me how horrible the postings are for my online classes. I mean, you're posting in a discussion forum (inside Blackboard) for a grade, not to annoy a bunch of coaster enthusiasts. ;) Seriously though, it amazes me how horrid those graded posts are. A lot are just as bad as this Jennifer Roberts character. When I see them, I say "next" and find one that doesn't require 5 times through to figure out what they're trying to say.

Everything is being bolded because someone (*ahem*) didn't close her tags properly.
"They're, Their, and There, for Dummies" - Special Edition
I am a dummy when it comes to this, so let me explain how a dummy remembers how these three words are used correctly.
They're is a contraction of they are. (They are funny. They're funny.) A contraction just means that an apostrophe is taking the place of one or more letters, so the language flows better.
Their is going to show ownership. I remember how to use it because it has the word the in it, and the and their are pretty much interchangeable. (The dog. Their dog.)
There is a place, just like here is a place. (Is the ball here or over there?)
Use these tips so people will not know that you are a dummy when it comes to" They're, Their, and There." ;)
