How many Coasters Do You Ride A Year?

over 35 new coasters this year. probably rode over 50 different ones this year though. my track record stands at 78, but thats not counting the double loop(clone of laser at dorney park) at the fair in my neighborhood. So that makes 79. Next year my track record should reach 100!!!
Got a mess of new coasters this year, trips to SRM/SFKK, SFWoA, Millenium Force, the new Cheetah (if you're driving to FL on I-75, stop in at Wild Adventures), PPP (and Dorney)...added 34 coasters to the ol' track record...MOST of 'em were GREAT rides!  After PPP, I got a trip to SFGAdv before heading back to FL, added #35 for the year (later found out it was coaster #150 for me)...NITRO!  My new favorite B&M ride.....the past three years certainly have been a lot of fun, a lot of travel, and a LOT of great new friends!!!

P.S. I'm with you Wiredog - I was BORN to ride...lucky for me, work involves some travel!!!

This year, I took many, many road trips.

I managed to get in 52 new coasters, and 68 total.

Of course, who knows how many times I rode each of those :-)  I mean, heck, I got in 24 rides on over a dozen different coasters this past weekend alone!

over 200
I jumped up from 212 coasters in my coaster count to 343 coasters, or 131 new to me coasters.

This year I actually rode 251 of the 343 coasters I've been on in my entire life, or about 73%.  Not bad for one year!  :)

Cedar Piont is nothing with out MF. Come to SFMM and see whats happening. Just give us a Giga coaster and bam. CP out of the pic.

5 coasters this year at Kennywood.  Hopefully, more to come next year since I have a car now and hopefully go out to Cedar Point.:)

Kennywood is my home park!!!
I generally get to ride about 20 coasters in 1 year, but unfortunutly, most are repeat rides, however I do always tend to try and ride at least 3-4 new coasters in a year to boost my total. However this year, I have been lucky enough to ride about 40 new coasters(A First Time trip to Ohio sure helped) which has really boosted my total by loads. My Coaster count at the moment stands at 99(Just 1 short of 100 which is annoying) but My 100th Coaster comes next year though definatly(it will hopefully be AIR at Alton Towers too)
Infact, if all goes according to plan, I could be riding about 60/70 new coasters next year which should be absolutly awesome, I hope I can pull it off:) Lets just say, I am gonna be Very Very Busy next year:):)
Well, I started the year off with 57 and ended with 96, as you can see from my track record. Of course, 39 were new to me. I'm planning to visit 4 new parks next year. So, I'm exploring quite a few new coasters. I would have over 100 but I normally dont ride kiddie coasters.

Dayuum, Your HOT!
In the last year I have ridden 66 coasters from trips to CP (duh, like everyday), SFMM, IOA, BGT, PKI, Disneyland, Vegas, SFWOA, SFGrAm, and SFStL. Of those 69, 23 were new coasters to me, making it a great year for boosting my track record.  I'm definitely looking forward to boosting it a little more this summer too.  I'm heading to the British Isles for 5 weeks for a study abroad program which will give me some new ones over there, and there is always the new rides at the parks I normally visit.   Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll be visiting any new U.S. parks in the year.

Personally, my count includes some kiddie coasters (all prior to 1980). The only one that recently came close to a kiddie coaster for me is Joust at Dutch Wonderland. I would count one if I previously rode one, or if I would ride one today say with my 3yr old neice, but other than that I would not go to a speical effort for one just for the track record (Lucky for me, my neice has already ridden Hershey's Trailblazer and loved it"I rode the big rollie coaster" she said. Okay, it's a very short and tame mine train, but it is more than a kiddie coaster. So she isn't afraid of the "big ones"... now we just have to wait for that height requirement to be met.)
