how long before beast record is beat

I agree that the amount of land a 7,000+ wooden coaster takes up is a big factor in why more parks have not built one. Son of Beast is a lot more compact than The Beast, but still covers at least 12 acres of ground. For some parks 12 acres is hard to come by, and would be used for more than one coaster or attraction.
Second I believe the Beast is not only the longest wooden coaster, but the coaster that covers the most acreage at 35 acres.
Yeah but we also thought 300 feet barrier wasn't going to be beat but we got there. I don't think it is totaly out of the question for a park to build a woodcoaster bigger than the beast. Parks don't have to put coasters on their own land, they could put coasters on top of things like indiana beach did with cornball express and hoosier huricane. And the price wouldn't be all that bad if you think of the publicity a park would recieve for being the park to actually conquer the beast record. I say give holiday world or other parks that are good with wood a few years and the mighty beast might be tamed.

If you make the coaster circle the park, no prob! (:
