It was the same way the day before according to the people I rode with.
My advice is stay in line because they announced that it would be a lengthy delay and it turned out to be 30 mins.

I have to admit I was a little underwhelmed overall. Hypersonic XLC blew me away (pun very much intended). Dragster was cool, but not as cool as Hypersonic IMHO.

"I was also there during this time...not a peep was heard from dragster on the 8th from what we saw...we got our ride after closing on the 7th. Hard to believe it's been almost 2 months ago already. Can still see the ground rushing up as we came back down.
Where has the summer gone?....."
Guess you can't really tell from the Erie isles then ;). You're right, summer did fly by. I can still vividly remember everything about my ride on TTD; the launch, flying up the hill, looking down on MF, twisting, the peeps in the queue during the brakes. Everyday, I wish that we didn't have to come home. Just talking about it makes me want to go back...can't wait till next year :). Hopefully, TTD won't have too many problems then, considering how well its been operating now. Of course, my main reason for coming back is to ride MF again and again and again...
July 2004-still 10 months away :(. I can't wait that long!!

It was the first time this year I got two rides in one day. Got to love the early evening launch, with the tower fully glowing against the sky.
Yesterday brought my ride total for the year to eight and each time I ride TTD I have much more of an appreciation for what it is. Fabulous ride (though MF is still the better coaster, IMO).
