How is Millennium Force?

School trips are not a big deal, because they're generally gone by mid-afternoon. Even when there are a lot of kids, it still beats any day in July!

Thanks for your help! I'll consider going late May or early June now...wasn't sure if July was the best time :)

I don't recall anyone adding the word 'smooth'. So, I'll add it. It is the smoothest roller coaster ever built. Not just in the ride itself, but speed, power, g-forces, float on the 185 footer... On a clear day coming from Toledo, you can see it on the bridge from Sandusky Bay. Very Impressive!

There's nothing like a woodie...
Millennium Force is the smoothest heart-pounding ride I have ever been on. The lift is pretty freaky because of the fact your nearly vertical. You feel like your going to fall out of the car. If I had to describe this roller coaster with one word, It would probably be SPEED. I mean that's what it is all about.

Millennium Force all the way!
Millennium Force is a ride you don't want to miss regardless of how long the line is. Smooth, great floating going down the what-seems-to-be-endless first drop, and the fact that the ride has no dead spots (or mid-course brakes)is enough to satisfy the thrill hungry crowd.

And do not miss a night ride on this beast. The trains seem to go faster when the sun goes down.

I try to go early June on Fridays and haven't had a problem with crowds.
Ride MF right in the morning, right when the park opens. I waited and hour and 15 minutes in the morning, and I went back in the afternoon, and the evening, and the wait was 3 1/2 hours long. So go on it first for the shortest wait.
MF, if nothing else, is God-like.
I'll will be honest, I have never been on the Force, but I will ride it this year. I hope it will be on opening day. Last year when I was ready to take the plunge, the wait was three hours or more. I will not wait that long to go on any ride. The longest will wait for a coaster is an hour and and half. After that I start to get angry at everyone. However, That was the second to last day cedar point was open, so that might be a good reason. Some people where saying the wait was over 5 hrs.

You happened to be there on a freakishly busy day, due mostly to the weather. The day before, Friday, they had double the people that they budgeted for.

MF is the smoothest coaster I have ever been on...it's like gliding on ice. I find it hard to believe that anyone would find something wrong with this coaster...it's incredible. And yes, the hills going over the lagoon and heading back out the lagoon supply great airtime.

Is it the best? Well, it's getting hard to rank coasters because there are so many good ones and similar ones. But MF is an original and if it is not #1, it's real close.
i didnt like it. i thought it was way to steap and i think someone will fall out. it goes by so fast u cant really see where u are going

Nice grammar and spelling...
Anyway, Millennium Force is unlike any other coaster out there, it is so fast, yet there is not any part of the ride that doesn't feel just right. You can't tell when a turn ends and when another begins, it is so unbeleivably smooth. It's hard to describe it, you have to ride it.

*If things seem under control, you're just not going fast enough*
