How did you become coaster crazy?

I remember like it was yesterday too.  I was on a church trip to Kings Dominion.  We all went to ride the bumper cars.  I was too short, so I went to ride the Scooby Doo.  I rode it over and Over.  Then I went to Adventure World (now SFA) which is my home park and I was scared to ride the Wild One.  My mother pushed me to get on saying that it was just like the Scooby Doo., but I thought the drop was straight down.  I finally got on and loved it.  But then I was scared to ride the mind eraser.  I finally got on that and every since then I have loved them............the rest is history.

Number 1 Batwing Fan!

My parents and my brother basically hate them, so I never went to any parks as a kid, except WDW in the mid 1980's. I rode Thunder Mt. and Space Mt., but I really don't remember them much. It wasn't until 1999 that my friends brouhgt me to Riverside, now SFNE. They thought it would be great if I got my first ride on Cyclone. Oh boy, was I surprised! I still wasn't into it yet, though. I had a company picnic at Lake Compounce in 2000 and I rode Boulder Dash numerous times that day. It was about that point that I found out that SFNE had a 200' coaster, SROS. In October of 2000, I got my first ride on SROS, and that was it. This year I was able to increase my track record to 40 coasters with trips to BGT, SFGAdv., CP, and SFWOA. I got a late start compared to some of you guys, but at 24 still have alot years left. A year ago at this time I didn't even know what B&M meant.

The one that really hooked me was my last year in high school and I went with the Campus Life people. One of the girls grabbed my arm and draggeed me to the American Eagle at SGRAM . I mean I didn't mind her grabbing my arm, she was a hottie I really had a crush on..lol. But I loved the Eagle and have been  a real coaster freak ever since that day.
