How Can I get in on Media day at CP this year??

The grand opening of Dragster should be as big as any previous and I was curious how some of you guys get in on media day at various parks.
any suggestions???

Hmmm.... I'm not in the media and got invited to Indiana Beach's media day for Locosumo. You just have to be "in". It does help to have good friends that work in the park too.

I think this is a good time also to explain that media days often are *not* ERT sessions. Many times there are significant (i.e. 30-minute) waits between rides due to switching camera equipment and TV personalities on the ride. Many times "enthusiasts" who are invited are limited on the seats they can pick (i.e., only on-camera folks are allowed in the front and/or back seats).
And btw, any enthusiasts who are invited are going to be the ones the park knows it can count on for enthusiastic, positive reviews of the new ride. Anyone who goes to a media day and badmouths any aspect of the park or new ride (or wears a shirt for an opposing park) is probably going to be asked to leave.
