There are two types of people in the world. People who like coasters and idiots.

That girl is really brave or really stupid.

^Agreed.

Agreed as well, and the southern "yyeeeeaaaauhhhh!!" at the and was the perfect touch...
Speaking of West Virginia, what ever happened with Wild Escape?? I was all excited about it because it was supposed to be about 3 or so hours from my house.

This area had their chance 25 years ago but PL (in eastern Ohio) flopped. My suggestion is to start looking for yellow arrows about 50 miles to the east.

I do believe that the area could support a waterpark, however. If no one else wants to do it, why doesn't Oglebay add one?

I guess some people have more time than brains on their hands. I do have to admire their inginitity. Nothing like "Redneck" or "Hillbilly" Engineering to make you smile.

I drive in & out of Boston, so I ride coasters to relax!

1. That was awesome!

2. Someone will die doing that.

^Actually, didn't SF put in a private order for at least a half dozen of these for their parks before Shapiro came around? ;)

OH MY DEAR GOD! that was ridiculous. I figured ok there going to pull her back about 10 or 20 feet or so then let go. Boy was I wrong.

That never gets old. Oh man, what a ride that would be!

You're right, that would be a ride! I wonder what they used for the springs?

The only one in all those links I would definately do is the "flying down the mountain" ride.

Is it just me, or did the robot arm look like it was going to put the guy head first into the floor? That was painful to watch.

^ Agreed. Never saw a zipline comes CLOSE to anything like that before. Doubtful we could get one of those in the States, huh? ;)

That looks WAY better than that lame zipline at Glenwood Caverns.

Hehe, while I really WANTED to try a zipline, I was travelling with a bunch of sleepyheads that needed their rest (therefore, the zipline queue/throughput prevented us from "enjoying" that particular attraction). The swing-thing over the edge of the mountainside was pretty cool though. LOVE Glenwood Caverns.

THIS particular zipline, however...I'd wait for.... :)

Wow, that is wild.
Man, if her angle had shifted several degrees, she would've been hammered into the ground.
Wonder what her speed was.

Proves why a redneck's last words will always be, "Hey ya'll, watch this!"
