But seriously, the 1500# weight is actually only about twice as much weight as a baby grand piano, so depending on the construction of your house (and where one would set it), there might not be as much need for structural upgrades as you would think. Now, jimmying the car through a typical 36" front door, that's another story...

Plenty of wood coasters have trains that are obviously twisting and flexing throughout the ride. There is nothing weird about it.
