Help! Should we go to SFO or CP?

The mix of coasters at Six Flags gives nice complement to the coasters at CP. Unique to SF are Mind Eraser (not a great ride), Superman:UE (lots of fun), Batman:Knight Flight (a fun floorless), and of course X-Flight ( a unique experience no matter how many coasters you have been on) and Villain (a great CCI creation.) Six Flags also has the wildlife side of the park if you aren't such a big fan of coasters. If you can, hit both parks. Six Flags is easily doable in a day.
At Cedar Point, you are basically guaranteed a good time. Having never been to SFWoA, that is a unfair statement. But based on the two days I was at CP, I'd say go there...It is a nice clean park, employees have a great attitude, rides work, lines are usually short on weekdays, etc. I went on a coaster trip to CP and PKI. Dedication is driving about 3,000 miles to ride Millennium Force and Son of Beast... :)

How is X-Flight, anyone?"

X-Flight is the best ride at SFWoA. I loved every moment of it. I think if you have ridden all the coasters at CP try SFWoA. I know a lot of people hate it, but you may find that you enjoyed yourself there (some people do like it). Also you might consider what others said and take a trip a little south and try my home park, Paramount's Kings Island. They have some great rides. If you do decide to go to PKI don't go on a Tuesday or you will be a little annoyed (Two for Tuesday). If you don't know what that is, season pass holders who have had the gold pass upgrade are allowed to stay on certain attractions for 2 rides.

"Honestly, CP is a much better park in every shape and form. Yea, you have to pay for the waterpark, but it is Cedar Point of Waterparks."

And just WTF is *that* supposed to mean? Oh I get it, it means that there are two GREAT slides and about 12 others just *there*. The lines will be hella long, but hey, at least you're moving. And under no circumstances are you to EVER put your hands up. :)

CP is a great park, but dont let other people influence your decision to go to SFWoA. It's good to go and see thing for yourself. Hey at the very least, if it sucks, you'll have something to talk about ;).

I love Cedar Point and everything and its my number 1 park. All y'all thats saying Cedar Point's roller coasters are Mediocre are some haters.

Other than that, I think you should go to SFWOA because if you have been going to CP for a while, I would think you would want somthing else. There you will have a floorless, a flying, an impulse, and all that good stuff. Even if the rides suck, you will know what you are missing everytime you pass the park.

You are the Weakest Link, Goodbye.
I say go to SFWoA simply since you've never been there. Don't get me wrong, CP is my favorite park that I've been to but I think it's overated by the locals. I had a great day at Six Flags (only two coasters had operators that ticked me off, but other than that it was nice to get over to the animal section to relax and stroll around. Also a fast pass may interest you because of the family thing. If the kids can't ride a certain ride then you won't have to leave them for long if you want to hop right on or it's good for cutting out the really long lines for some rides (X-Flight in particular). I like variety and like to have my own comparison of each coaster and park so that is the basis of my opinion here. Later
I am a Cedar Point fanatic but if you been there 2 years in a row maybe your kids would like some new and different coasters. If it was up to me I would go two both but if it is only 1 then SFWoA.
I love CP but if you been there go to SFWoA. An Impulse, flying, floorless, and a CCI creation. Whats better than that?

GO TO CEDAR POINT. i was disapointed with every coaster at SFWOA except for batman and big dipper. when i went to CP i was disapointed with mean streak. i had the same high hopes with both parks.
i went and MF wasnt there and i still say go to CP even if MF wasnt there. x flight was there when i went to SFWOA. i loved raptor, had a hoot on mantis, digged magnum alot, and was very pleased with gemeni.

I personally didn't like SFO...horrible service. Cedar Point has an awesome land placement, a very, very, very nice staff, and great coasters (MF, *DROOL*). Go to Cedar Point! :-)

Thank you for not feeding the trolls and enjoy the rest of your day, here at CoasterBuzz.com. CLEAR!
I don't get the medicore rides thing. Cp-3coasters in top ten, one being #1. SFWOA-1 coaster, and it's number 23. Explain mediocre, that's a pretty stupid comment...

Cedar Point. No contest.
Go to sfwoa it is a good park. the park is pretty dirty but thats the worst thing about the park. X Flight rocks and so does Batman Superman and Villan. And Big Dipper is a classic. The wildlife side has some good shows and nice scenery Go to sfwoa just because you have never been there and it is a good park.
