Heide park's New Giga Coaster 2003(layout inside)

Why no loops? Because it's a 345 foot coaster! 95 mph! A looping giga?! The loop would have to be huge, and they're no loops on the 2 excisting  gigas' in the world anyway.

-----------------

*Why* no loops? It's a hypercoaster and doesn't need any. We have plenty of ride that go upside down, we need more that don't use that gimmick.

As said before, its an Intamin, I agree, look at the hill, if you look closley, see the track, also, it does have some airtime, but look at all of the turns at low levals, Looks to focus on the speed more than the air, kinda like MF, and S:ROS(not SFNE's)

Iron Wolf: Can you stand it?

Aren't those the number 1 and 2 coasters in the world?  Maybe speed is good?  That is the way Intamin designs them(I am not bashing you, BTW).  I can NOT believe the people that are complaining and saying that it is boring.  I can't even gather a response for that.  The world's tallest coaster, "it's just turns and drops", amazing what people will say.

Please disregard anything said by me that is incomprehensible, incoherent, or just dumb. I am and will be drained from the arduous school year, thank you!

It doesn't look that impressive to me.

Remeber that Giga is a trademark of Itamin, and don't go abusing trademark laws.  If you look on MF cars it says "Intamin Giga" Invention is a wonderful thing, don't let it get carried away in the scuff.  But that coaster is going to be pulling mega g's for awhile, look at the turn at the bottom of the first drop.  I don't know if most people will be able to handle that.  Looks better than MF layout so far.
You know, now that I look at it, I'm not that impressed with the layout either.  I looks to spread out to me.  It looks to me like the last 2 hills are basically near the end of the ride.  I wonder how high those hills are going to be???   I hope they atleast make the other hills higher than Steel Dragon's.  This looks like an Intamin all the way!!!!!!  They are the best!!!!  I think I will take a flight out there next year!!!
It won't pull too many G's...they don't design coasters to hurt people, they design them to give people an adrenaline inducing experience that is safe.

And if you hadn't noticed, there are at least 3 overbanks. This is a ride that my de-trone MF...that is if there are that travel over to Europe it ride it that went to CP to ride MF.

Oh my GOD!! I'm there next year!!!!
I think SD2K has the best layout of all the gigas. This one seems to have too many turns, which get boring, and a few hills. Whats the point of having a giga coaster if it is all turns? Why not just get a hyper?
-----------------
Intamin's look on gigas is obviously speed with a few floater hills. This makes sense, because they have their hypers and they [will] have their gigas. Their hypers give tons of air, while their gigas are more powerful with the sheer speed and intensity of their rides. If the park wanted a hyper, they would have gotten one, but they obviously wanted something different, something that would be a smash hit.

I'm sure they are going for a bigger and better MF. Heck the first year in operation MF was 2nd place among voters in Amusement Today, this year it's first. I think that every park wants a coaster like this. It puts them on the map, and they can become a formitable competitor in the coaster wars.
