While you guys discuss Chorus Line, Heide Park finished the Pretzel Loopy thingy(not sure how to call these elements) It is also amazing how close this ride will get to there bobsled coaster..
A very ominous picture. I like it.

That is a beautiful maneuver. I think this is another case of space constraints forcing creativity.

Yea. As with any art form, limits can help with making something more interesting. I think I heard an interview with Jack White a while back that he makes his job as a performer more difficult on purpose so he doesn't get comfortable, and that the outcome is always better because of it. He puts his distortion peddles across the room so he has to run over to switch his sound, for example. It keeps him on his toes and forces him to stay focused.
This reminds me of that, somehow.

I have always thought that Europe is starting to over take the US one it comes to Cleaner, and more beautiful theme parks, and they are more willing than the US park chains to plop down a huge chunk of cash, and create a great and well designed ride. Instead of plopping a coaster in the middle of a parking lot.
Also there are some crazy flats in Europe that I wish parks in the US would have. They also have some awesome traveling coasters, including an inverted one, that travels from town to town, for the bigger events.
One thing that Europe has going for it, is it's beautiful landscape. Most newer American parks are built in an area where there is a little terrain as possible, with less obstacles for park designers to over come. And, usually it they can't over come it in reason, they just bull doze the obstacles. In Europe they plan around them.
The only US parks that do it right, is Disney, and Maybe Universal. They turn scrub grass land, into a beautiful lush wonderland.
I didn't do it! I swear!!
The photos of this ride look awesome! If this were in the US, I think it would give Gate Keeper some serious competition!
I didn't do it! I swear!!
What type of competition? For the arbitrary "best Wing Rider" label? Because I fail to see how its location on the planet would matter in that regard.
Unrelated, but Vater, that has to be the best non-Goncharian avatar of all time.

I don't like it AT-AT all. It's too forced. I don't care about it one iyoda.

Another surprise, the last turn/helix into the brakes will be anything but conventional

Yes. Always give photo credit and always tip your waiter.
Credit due to coasterfriends.de (see, I learn and always tip!). Looks like this coaster does not waste an inch of track, even the turnaround into the brakes looks like fun!
Coaster is almost done(wow, took like 3 weeks to build, considering it wont open until Spring 2014, this will leave plenty of time for some amazing theming)
TR - you seem to forget about Busch Gardens. As for parks in the U.S., they are the most beautiful (especially Williamsburg).
I do agree with the assessment of the overseas parks. They go all-out on landscaping. My favorites were Europa & Eftling. Simply beautiful parks!

I am not big on Wingcoasters (Gatekeeper was just ok to me), but thanks to original poster fearandloathing here on coasterbuzz I got aware of this lil wingy that got me fascinated. It is so different and as I visit Germany a lot for work, I keep on following this project.
Might aswell, keep posting updates(for those of you who are interested)
This coaster is a mess of steel
With an interesting first drop
Airtime Hill going over the Immelman. This ride will provide near miss experiences by the second
Last, but not least an overview of the area. Track construction should be finished by the weekend, which gives the park a solid 6 months time for theming.

I think it's great that with all that's been written about European designs v. American designs thus far, the photos posted above my post show what looks like 4 or 5 coasters immediately next to each other- all of them white.
I do agree, though. Some of the designs over there look like they could be set to music.
The trick was to surrender to the flow.
