Headchoppers...

You can certainly hit the sides of the tunnels on the Beast. There's probably lots of other coasters you can if you try hard enough, but I'm not sure why'd you want to.

I like headchoppers in general, but nothing can compare to the oh shiz moment created by the chain return on SFStL's Ninja.

Hello RCMAC. Here's the story on Dan's brownies. We got to the park early, and went out to the car around 3 to eat the snacks I brought, and drink the sodas in my cooler. (Because I will not get ripped off on MA's high priced food) We had sandwiches and chips, and he brought brownies, I had a couple of them, when he told me to lay off the brownies because they had weed in them. So, I did not know that they had weed in them, until he told me. I stopped eating them on the spot.I was actually kind of upset with him, because I am very anti-drug, I don't smoke, and the only time I drink, is when I will be staying near to where I am drinking, so I don't have to drive afterwards. But, I will say that, it certainly made everything pretty...really vivid colors, and things that moved slowly looked like they were moving in slow motion, and things that were moving fast were a happy blurr. Made the rides on ST a lot more fun. But, it was a fast burn, and I was back to my old self in just a couple hours. But, I won't eat those brownies again. Happened to me at the campground too, where some guys made brownies, and I didn't ask what was in them. I wanted to say hello, and hug everyone. They said it was the must fun I had ever been. I think what was in those was a lot stronger than pot. The down side was, I was so wired all night I couldn't sleep, and spent a really nice day zonked out in my tent the next day. So, now if anyone has brownies, or any kind of food. I ask.

Even your mom?

I'm no expert, (ahem), but I would think that a pot brownie would be very recognizable at first bite. From your description it sounds like your first experience might've been an acid brownie, if there's any such thing. Your second time sounds more like pot. When pot is ingested it has a longer lasting effect, and that sounds like your experience at the campground. I hear it makes one all huggy, too.

But I went to a state college in the 70's, so once again, what do I know?

I'm very glad, however, that you're being responsible and staying close to home if intoxicated and not barreling up and down those rural Michigan roads after 10 pm. Or visiting amusement parks.

Vivid colors? Yeah, as stated above, that wasn't pot.

^^ Depends on the pot.

RCMAC. I'm guessing that a person would have to know what pot is like to me able to recognise it in a brownie. I have been around people who smoke pot, and I have been to plenty of concerts where it is in the air, but, it tasted like a brownie...no different taste at all. Though maybe a little sweeter, and actually taste pretty good. Those are the only two experiences I have had in my life, where I was accidently involved with drugs. I wouldn't do it knowingly. I can't even stand poppers, though I have done that a few times.I'm just not interested, and can never understand how people seem to get so crazy from it. But, according to people I have asked, they say that ingesting pot goes directly into your system, rather than when you just inhale it into your lungs. So you get a different effect. But, i don't know for sure, only repeating what I was told.I don't do drugs.

Good for you. I was only kinda pulling your leg anyway. Kinda.

So pot brownies have no different taste at all, except that they do, and you can't stand poppers, except that you do them occasionally. (If you can't stand poppers, why would you do them more than once?)

I love that the de facto drug discussion thread is entitled "Headchoppers."

I ate a brownie made from black beans once. You wouldn't believe the colors, lights and sounds.

^^ Or the smells!

At Great Adventure this afternoon, I saw someone two seats ahead of me on the agonizingly slow lift hill of Rolling Thunder running his fingers along the guard rail the entire way up. I just turned to my companion and said, " I hope he gets a splinter..in each finger."

Thanks, Tyler. Good looking out. I'm fried from the weekend and a Friday snafu at work.

Oh, Rolling Thunder. Sorry for the stupidity. Air head moment.

No, Justin. I was sitting ON (not IN) the last car and facing backwards, because that's where I wanted to sit. There was no volleying about it either...everybody was too busy with their "Yee-Haws!"

No, Tyler. Use your head. It wasn't an air head moment. It wasn't there when you first read it. I edited it. You were right to ask the question.
