^Sooperdooper and Mindbender are VERY underrated. :-) They deserve MUCH love.

OMG, Tina. Mindbender is WAY underrated. It looks kinda fugly with its new Riddler colors, but it's way awesome.

It's begining to show its age, and the 3rd loop is still nowhere to be found, but it's still up there among my favorite non-gimmick coasters.

Mindbender to this day still is my favorite coaster. Don't know why and it has nothing to do with Scharzkopf having to do with it but it just did something to me that no other coaster has.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

The Revolution was built by Schwarzkopf. It was sold to MM by Intamin. That was the era when Intamin was only a sales outlet for other manufactuers.

Mindbender with the trims hitting hard is still a good solid ride, the loops are perfect (even the *third* one, LOL)...and there's good airtime on the hill past the first loop (on the turnaround). But when those trims are *tapping* the train, there's LOADS of air...that's why it's Myndbender. ;)

But ShockWave at SFoT...blew my baby's DOORS off! Best.Looper.Anywhere!

See, I went to SFOT on my way to the ACE Coaster Preservation event last year, and it was closed because of the damage from the flood. Now I need to go back. Ugh, the money you'll spend to ride one coaster... this is almost as bad as my trip to Albuquerque.

But it's a Schwarzkopf and I liked Mindbender even though the line moved slow, and the trims were on hard. It's the only coaster other than Great American Scream Machine that I rerode that day.

Our coaster taste are pretty similar gator, so hopefully it's as good as I hear. **Not overhyping myself, always ends better that way**

Without Anton, we'd still be riding around in Arrow mine trains...

Show some love and support, give us the reasons YOU love Anton Schwarzkopf...

My top five:
1. Airtime
2. No OTSRs
3. Teardop vertical loops
4. OMG-quick flywheel launches
5. Nail-you-to-the-seat G forces

As always, thanks! to RideMan Dave for maintaining the Rollback...

I thought Anton was known for NOT using teardrop loops rather using perfectly circular ones.....in any case im not worthy anton genius schwarzkopf

While not quite as drastic as most Arrow loops, Schwarzkopf loops are indeed teardrop-shaped.
I dunno... those loops look pretty circular to me.

As I said...they're more circular than most manufacturers', but if you look at the bottom of each loop, the angle the track makes shows that they are not complete circles. *** Edited 7/10/2005 11:51:39 PM UTC by Vater***
This (notice the yellow and green) would be considered closer, if not completely, to being circular, but the others have that angle at the bottom.

This even more so before the reprofile after the move for the second time.

Dear God, how can anyone ride that and keep their spines intact?

Ich leiben Sie, Herr Schwarzkopf.

The modifications to the track make the forces on Zonga max out at 5.5Gs, down from 6.7. Can you believe 5.5 is the reduced force? Too bad it hasn't opened since September 2004 for all to "enjoy." :(
