I used to think that a shorter train would be slower too till I saw Avalanche in action. That baby looks like it breaks the laws of physics. After seeing several coasters in motion, you get a feel for how they should look traveling the track. Even after all my rides on Avalanche, that ride still looks "off" to me. That speed just does not look right.
I love it about this hobby when I can say, How'd they do that? It tickles me even more when Rideman says it :)

I agree! I couldn't believe how fast the train on Avalanche zips around the circuit! No one has video of Hades testing yet????
