Do you really think SFWoA deserves a 4-D? They have received all the latest developments in the coaster industry like the impulse and flying dutchman. I think it is another park's turn at a new design.

The Great Escape. Think about it, they have no good coasters other than Comet which is a has been, and they got permission for 200+ in low areas. I think that because they said they want to draw crowds. What would draw crowds more than a 200+ coaster with raven turns. Also, think Great Escape has no inverted or a hyper. MIX???
I put my bet on Great Escape

Six Flags fed all there big major parks this year, I really think SFSTL and SFFT will get one, they are due and are mid tier Six Flags Parks. SFDL could be a very good choice to so they could catch up to the other Six Flags parks in that area. The question is, do they have room??

4. Riddler's Revenge
5. Goliath
todd if you are refering to sfdl then the answer is a giant yes, being that it is the 2nd biggest (land owned) six flags park.

Wouldnt you rather they retrofit Shockwave with lap bars instead of tearing it down? I think this would make the ride more enjoyable.

Let's see. X hasn't even opened to the public yet, and no one knows if it'll be reliable. But, people are already making predictions of where the next one will go. You've got to love the craziness that is Coasterbuzz.

I've heard lotsa rumors about one at SFWOA b/c of the 200' coaster and I also heard SFDL and SFAW.

I agree. Shockwave is a really fun ride, lap bars would make it even better. I have said this before, but it felt smoother latley...I also think if Six Flags was going to tear down the Shockwave, then they should look at the Phantom Revenge sucess story and take that as an example.

"Thank you for challenging the Raging Bull. We hope you enjoy the rest of you're day, here at Six Flags Great America."
One thing Giovanola was never in talks w/ SFWoA for our hyper. Anyways dont be surprised if we get one in a couple years. Im sure Arrow could design a 4D w/out any flying time. They could go for more flipage and actual inversions. Theres so much more they can do w/ a 4D then just have flying time.

I think SFStL is one of the most deserving parks to get one, but I don't think it will go there or to SFEG because I think they'll put them in the parks that typically draw bigger crowds throughout the summer. Even though Six Flags is a corporate entity and can therefore use profits from one park to help expand another it seems that they want each park to be independantly financially viable and therefore I bigger SF park will probably receive the aforementioned 4-D's.
I hope SFNE gets one some time in the next five years. I don't think it has to be 230"(lift hill and drop is 200") to be a great ride, the drop could be 170". It don't really matter, however they need a large looping coaster and I know they are getting a B&M next year, but that is a small looper.
My best bets would be SFDL because they haven't had anything new since superman. I really doubt SFA will get a 4d because they have a flying dutchman which fits the scenario that Chewman stated. Great Adventure, I am not even sure if they will get anything for the next 2 years because they need to work out prolems with the Chiller and decide if it should stay or go or do something to the trains. A GREAT possibility would be the Great Escape, I think we will see a 4D somewhere in New York. I think a 4D would look nice at Cedar Point though........

Like I said before, I think Great Escape will get the next 4D. It might be more hope than think, but if you think about it, Great Escape has no inverted coaster or a hyper coaster. 4D's are 200+ and have similar to inverted chairs.
Even though I would like to see Drachen Fire re-open if they tore that down or sold it BGW could build a 4D there.
I don't think Great Adventures would put one up because they need more wooden coasters.Sfgam might not get one either cause how many inverts do they have 3.Sfdl I don't know if they would get one cause there coaster is already 200 feet but its a chance.I heard sfwoa new hyper coaster is suppose to be designed by Intamin.I guess it will just pop up somewhere in the south.

There are no problems with chiller, they are putting lapbars in. I have a feeling it is SFGAdv because they seem to get what SFMM gets.

Nitro: The Most Explosive Coaster on the Planet explodes at Six Flags Great Adventure in 2001.
As anyone heard of SFEG? Their last coaster was a Boomerang in 1999. They need a new ride. A 4-d coaster would be great!

SFEG has no room, they have a freeway next to them, a railroad tracks so basically they don't have that much room for exspantion
