What does "astm" stand for?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Read this http://www.astm.org/cgi-bin/SoftCart.exe/COMMIT/COMMITTEE/F24.htm?L+mystore+gnkp5235. They set the standards that most states, and the CPSC go by *** Edited 8/4/2006 11:22:23 PM UTC by Dutchman***

Two sections were saved for ACE and are being stored for future display in the museum. Photos at the link below

More photos of Greezed Lightnin' plus Gunslinger and some boxes that say "Mayan" on them as well as other items being stored for ACE at Larson International in Plainview, TX can be seen here:

Mayan Mindbender is being stored on some private land away from Wonderland and I didn't get a chance to try to find it although the owner of Wonderland gave us the basic location.

OT: Was Texas Tornado's loop originally supposed to fill the entire support or was it designed to look fugly? I've been on it and remember thinking that when I rode it (been several years ago) just never asked.

I think it was something like Hopkins felt it was eaier to do the loop that way, using the same base structure as the first loop, than it would be to redesign the whole loop.

There is a long and interesting history between the construction of that ride, but yes, when originally, built, both loops filled the entire loop supports. There were problems with tests runs where the train didn't make it through the second loop so it was heavily modified. Once the train finally did make it through the loop, they discovered the problem was actually with the wheels on the train becoming too hot and slowing the train down. *** Edited 8/10/2006 12:14:37 PM UTC by Jason Knutson***

Isn't this the coaster that was promised for less than $1 million on a dinner napkin? ;)
That would be correct....
Joyland Texas, good move! Same for Wonderland. Same for DelGrossos saving a coaster from another park that closed.

There used to be another shuttle like Greased Lightning at KW. It was named Laser Loop and was removed to make room for the Steel Phantom. It was moved to a park in the Middle East.

Arthur Bahl

^^

KW's Laser Loop is in Mexico at named Cascabell or something to that effect.

Weight lost to ride more coasters......90lbs

Funny how they would remove a coaster with such a small footprint. I would of thought that they would have moved it elswhere in the park.
