I don't agree with your statment about CCI's Poor workmanship, I think Villain is a great ride and I rode it in the middle of 2003 Season, on wheel and non wheel seats, non wheel seats are far smoother, but non wheel seats are about as rough as Ghostrider and Shivering Timbers. Villain is in my opinion is the most underrated woodies out their.

Homey G. I personally love Villai nand thought it was really smooth up front. But you are right about Raven and Legned if Holiday world didn't love them so much they would age very fast.

Any coaster would "age fast" if the parent company didn't maintain them. Take Collossus as a perfect example.

To me,Villain wasn't the worst, but it suffered from "eh" syndrome. I just think it's boring. My 2 cents.

I also think that Villain is underrated... I found it to be an outstanding ride last year.

If CCI coasters are maintenance nightmares, then why would so many parks go with second and third rides? Indiana Beach built HH in 1994 and waited until 2001 to build CE... that's a long gap and surely the park would have seen that another CCI would have been a mistake during that time. Then they went ahead and re-did LoCoSuMo.

Big Chiefs has three CCIs, Silverwood and Holiday World have two. They must have been pretty happy with their CCI experiences!

Please note in my post where I said (opinion) at the end. I think Villian is a turd, but that's mostly because SF has chosen to let it go, and having G trains does it no favors.

Also I'm not ripping CCI. Some of my favorite woodies were made by CCI. However, the craftmanship as a whole is poor. Coasters CAN be heavenly. I personally tend to believe that some other coasters can "hold their own" a little longer without TLC (opinion).

What's not opinion is the fact that Cheetah's lift hill collapsed during construction. Hmm. Think GCI woulda had something like that happen?
