Great pictures Jeff. I have a couple questions since you got to see these coasters up close. On the overview of Superman does the structure include the 2 loops and the lift hill? Also, I am confused on the lift hill because it looks like the lift side and drop are on the same side of the hill. I have never seen or witnessed a LIM so this is new to me. Another question, that support for the twist seems to only go halfway up. Did they use the strongest steel made to keep the upper part of the twist from rocking. In the picture that twist gives me an uneasy feeling. Some of the other pictures you show gives an impression that they had to squeaze these coasters together.
the 2 loops you see in that picture along with the lift hills belong to the Mind Eraser boomerang coaster. Superman Ultimate Escape consists only of the spiraling tower, the other tower which you can see behind Mind Eraser, and the straight track that connects them.

Yes... Sue is U-shaped. The car starts level near the straight tower, launches forward and up the spiral tower, then goes up in reverse and goes back and forth about three times. The spiral is just extremely over built.

We're all "new" to this kind of ride. The only other one like it is in Japan sans the spiral.
