Great American Scream Machine celebration

I can't for the life of me figure out why enthuasiasts who go to a park act as though they know everything that goes on it running that park, including but not limited to, that braking system of a ride that he/she doesn't work at.

Isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black....

Well, sadly, even if I did work there this season, I moved into a nice cushy inside job in park operations/communications center. That's cool because you knew what was happening in the park at any given time. You also wouldn't be able to see me. ;) But alas it appears I won't be returning for another season. Graduate college soon. Probably going to go into the USAF.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Now it is interesting to me that CTCF has stated the way enthusiasts are,... hmmmmm....?
Let's see if you are there on Sat. at Spring Fling. If you are attending, then that would make you an enthusiast? Right?

GP and CTCF need to chill out on the whole, "I know everything about all rides because I work at the park." Chris, you have never worked at Cyclone, so whatchyou talkin' bout Willis? GP, if you look at CTCF's trip report about opening weekend, even he said that the trims were off. All I can say is that I have never gotten air on drop 7 where the last trim is, and I was flying out of my seat.

Rampage isn't saying that he is 100% positive, but, if it doesn't make a sound, slow the train or anything, the trims were probably off. My understanding was that the trims are off when running one train. Maybe I am wrong, but Enthusiasts don't always claim to know everything, we just tend to pay attention to small details that we feel is important.

Just one man's opinion.

By the way GP, good luck in USAF if you do it.

When I originally posted it, I thought they were off too. But then when GP informed me, I looked into it, and yes, they are still "on", just not on, if you know what I mean. But it really doesnt matter now, as the trims are now killing the train worse than ever.
