Great Adventure coaster height and type confirmed

Well i pushed myself and my father to go to the meeting a the Jackson Township board meeting tonight, i sat in the last row somewhere in the middle. When it was great Adventures turn to speak, they proposed a coaster that was 122 feet tall and they had a concept drawing of it, that which of i coul not see quite clearly. it looked ot have a loop in it and i belive they said it would be of the flying type. (couldn't quite hear that well becasue my father kept complaining and distracting me the whole time, we left right after they presented, they are stated to return on the 24th.
superman at SFoG is 115 feet...hmmmmm....
Please don't let the new Six Flags flyers be clones! PLEASE!

Take it up a notch, Mr. Operator! I wanna feel my brains in my feet!

from what i saw of the drawing, (not much being in the last row, it did not look to be a clone of S:UF.
S:UF is an amazing ride. Clone it all you want.

-----------------
All I need is 4.5 million bucks and a half a mile long sliver of land and maybe someone could build me my very own Shivering Timbers. ;)

I'll agree that SUF is an amazing ride, but who is to say that a different version of it wouldn't be even better?

Bah, it's not that I dislike clones, but man, if this thing becomes the next Batman...that's just that many more flyers that *could* have been custom.

Oh well, I'll stop *****ing for now.

It tastes like burning.

That is not B&M's official site so that is just coming an orifice in the lower half of the body!

I, am nobody, and nobody is pefect!

Just looked at the site again.. #1 site for unofficial information. Bah~

Pretty much said that S:UF was most likely to be cloned at most US six flags parks.

Damn! I really wanted a 4-D, but I guess a flyer will have to do. ;)

Well if SFGRADV is getting a flyer then there's no reason why, aside from cost that SFA can't have a floorless possibly built for the 03 season.
I covered this topic along with what I saw in the news portion already. Also, I was sitting right behind you and your father and you didn't see anything from where you were sitting because the plans were facing the front of the room the entire time. I saw the plans on the way out as I was walking next to the engineer. They never mentioned flyer, but the height is right at 122'.

Number of coasters ridden: 225

Interesting... The way I see it, if a ride is good, there isn't wrong with clones.

Batman is a lot of fun. Each is a hit in its respective park. Now, considering this, aren't there a lot of B&M Inverts that are not clones. Sure, Raptor, Montu, Top Gun etc.

What I am getting at is just because a ride is cloned doesn't mean that it will be the only layout on the market. Sure, we have a lot of Batmen, but also a lot of good custom rides too. I predict the same for the B&M Flyer, particularly when parks begin to the see the ride as a good, reliable investment.

DELIRIUM:
Arrow 4th Dimension Coaster
Height: 127'
Lenght: 2529'
Ridetime: 89 seconds
Max speed: 59mph
Elements: Skydive Downdrop, 2 Raven Turns, 1 Tunnel, 1 Twisting Backflip, 1 Twisting Frontflip

Maybe.........there's always the possiblity

CoasterFanMatt.....Raptor has a Clone. It's called Orochi. Check it out

RESIDENT EVIL: BIOHAZARD! Scaring up some HELL only on the NINTENDO GAMECUBE!!!!!
Explains why i'm up at 4am in the morning. Too scaried to sleep!

That is very weird, Raptor has a clone! I kinda think that is cool. Has anybody ever rode Orochi? Is it as good as the actual Raptor?
There are no 4Ds going to be built anytime soon.

Agreed, Viper423...until the engineers figure out more of the technical aspects of the 4-d, I'm going with the idea that X is still the only one for at least one more season, more likely two....just so I get that ONE spin...:). S:RoS may actually take a back seat on Friday....

I'm just not THAT impressed with the flying coasters...the Beemer was more comfy, the Vekomas, IMO, featured a better overall layout but a more "cumbersome" design....IF in fact it turns out to BE a flyer in Joisey...;) - then it would certainly be a great addition, and at least GAdv can take care of their steel Beemers, will this really be the first park to have 4 of 'em?

"gator". Dont forget about SFGAm. Strong possibility of a 4th beemer coming to this park as well.

-----------------
Ric Flair was hitting on the female host, he told her - "Space Mountain may be the oldest ride in the park, but it has the longest line." WOOOOO!

SFGAm would have four with their rumored B&M Flyer

SFGAm: 1)DV 2)V2 3)AE Blue 4)Viper 5)Bull
