GREAT ADVENTURE A GREAT TRIP!!!!!!!!!

today was my cousins birthday so her mom decided to take us to six flags great adventure. a couple of my other family memebers decide to join in becuase they haven't been there in like 5-6 years. we left at 2pm (UGH) but go to the park at 3:30 cause we stopped like 3 times! as we got to the park gate i was very exicited ( as usual) but we suddenly made a quick turn to the exit. pure rage and was flowing thorugh my body. I Knew Where We Were Going! the six flags outlite center about 2 miles from the park gates! uuuuuuuuuggggggggggh i hate that place. it's great that u know u can get a pare of nikes for like $40 but come on i though we were going to the park. in the parking lot we agreed to be back at the car at 4:00 ,15 minutes from now, to head to the park and get buy on get one free. this really didn't matter to me because i have a season pass and all i did was buy f-zero for gba and was back at the car. that was at about 3:50 when i got back. as i though we didn't leave the outlites until shock for shock 4:47pm. finally we got to the park! yes the park wasn't crowded at all and all the coaster (except viper) were open! i got my season pass checked and headed over to the guest relations to ask for coaster celebration registration forums. i got them but no one was ready to go in the park. so without a doubt i went to NITRO to check the lines. nitro was pretty short and it was running three trains. we breezed through Nitro's line in 20 minutes! i got back seat the second best seat cause the front is definently the best. NITRO WAS GREAT that was my ninth time, it's an 11 out of 10. GREAT RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after that we had to cool off so we went on riptide to get some splashes. after riptide i went on roadrunner with my baby cousin he liked it i didn't, too rough. after that we went on skull mountain. skull mountain had no line what so ever, go figure. for some strange reason skull mountain was fun. i would give it an 9 cause it one never has a line and two the back row is great. they also added these weird glow in the dark skulls and when u go past them they scream at u. it was cool so i went back once and front once. after that is was another dreedful trip out of the park but this time to burger king at 7:00pm. i really was not hungry cause i had a huge bowl of cereal and a sandwhich in the car. i wanted to stay in the park cause i have a cell phone but no one trusted me. we returned to the park at about 8:30. this is when it really got fun. jumping jackflash was open so we watch it go up and down for a few minutes but the line was too long to ride. we ran straight to medusa. medusa was Amazing in the dark. that was my first in the dark. i had been on the coaster 26 timebut that was the best. that also deserved a 11 out of 10 truely amazing. the light gave it an special effect. we came of the ride at about 9:00pm and quickly went on the runaway train which like skull mountain had no line i rode the back cause that is the only good seat. i would give it a 7 cause it's old.

everyone but me and my exacly 54 inch cousin wanted to to go on the log flume. i was not up for that, i had 10 minutes left to get on the chiller before the park closed. we got to the chiller a little earlier than i had hoped. WHAT A SURPRISED!!!!!!!!!!! the chiller had like no line!!!!!!!!!!!!! this was history!!!!!!! i got on front car in 8 minutes!!!! never before done! the front car was cool as hell. the operator never said good bye or did a count down, u just had to listen for the brakes to open and the LIMs to power up. what a RUSH!! that was a 10 in it's self . it had lots of head bumping but i really didn't care. i wasn't lucky enough to see maybe the robin test but i got three times on batman which one was the last train. after the chiller my cousins and i saw Nitro running so we decided to check and see if the line wasn't closed. Lucky us the line wasn't closed and it is park policy that if u get on the line before it closes u can ride the ride. over the loud speakers a voice came " NITRO IS CLOSED!!"

nitro had a 5 minute line and i wasn't going to lose that! a couple of people behind us where cursing and shouting u suck. i wasn't that type of person so i didn't say anyting but contiuned to walk. a park employee came out of nowhere and stop us. there where about 15 people behind me and they plus the other 30 somethin other people on line where shouting "let them on, let them on!' i agreed but the employee was starting to call security. i wasn't up for that at all i was ready to leave. five really rude people began to jump the line and go in the station. my cousins where about to do that too but i said no just wait. a quick word with the employee about the park policy got us on the ride. to bad those "fools" who jumped the line where ejected from the ride. i got a nice seat in the second row. it was pitch dark and nitro was scary as hell. oh but man was it good!!!! i wasn't like medusa which had those nice lights aroud the place but it had this headless horseman type of effect where it felt like we were being chased but it was so cool. GREAT RIDE ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! well that was pretty much my trip, it was great one of my best trips. i really hope the coaster celebraiton is as cool as this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like Nitro is a kick *** ride! I wish I could go on it, but Raging Bull is good for me for the time being.
Early you said all the rides were open except Viper. Well... was Batman & Robin: The Chiller (Robin) side open? Later you said it was closed. Hey, who cares if you didn't mention Robin being closed.

I wish I could visit the park :(

well i got this letter from great adventures today (check out my post called Six Flags GrAdv 2002!) they said the viper and chiller wherenot scedualed to open this season.:(

Nitro, your trip report would be much better if you capitalized your "I"s, spelled out your "you"s, capitalized the beginning of each sentence and generally checked your spelling (all covered in the FAQ you should have read by now). For example, the word is spelled "outlet".

It's funny that you thought Roadrunner Railway was rough. My niece who is 2 years and 3 months old rides the thing with NO hands!!! It's really funny to watch her getting tossed all around and grinning from ear to ear. She doesn't care, she keeps her hands up and has a great time! I hope she keeps up the coasterbuzzin'.

Also you said that all coasters were running exept Viper but Robin od course was not and one side to Rolling Thunder is usually closed.

Have some of you not read the FAQ? Internet slang is not allowed on Coasterbuzz, and may result in your post being deleted. Am I a third grade english teacher? No. I'm just one of many people who read Coasterbuzz who appreciate people who can spell, capitalize, and use correct grammar. Nitro, you seem to have a very big problem with that. Do you ever expect to get a decent job? You're going to have to learn to communicate properly. The way you type or write now won't fly in the real world. Calling me a loser is really juvenile. You should be able to defend yourself without resorting to insults. Justin, why are you getting involved? You should stay out of it.

It's real brave Intamin Fan, of you to respond to the insults I left about you but I really feel that you where in the wrong since you insulted me first about the why I type. You as a thought Mature adult should have left your opinions about my typing to yourself and just comminted on just  my trip. That is the only real reason why I, a 15 year old roller coaster fan, posted my trip. I never read the FAQ's so I didn't know you couldn't use internet slang. That is my fault. I know you are happy and are feeling very confident right now but I hope you know that I am really sad and convinced that you have the I.Q. of a Buffalo. One that follows a bunch of it's fellow buffalos off a CLIFF trying to escape from a band of hungray Indians casing them at 80+mph off that 230ft cliff which drops at 66 degrees. But, unfortunatly you collide with the buffalo in front of you at 20+ mph. With your I.Q. being so low I wouldn't expect you to have caught that. the Indians who got their messy yet  tasty meat are the accident free Nitro. The slow empty headed buffalo, which you remind me of so well ,is the crashing, 40 people injuring, Intamin manufactured hyper coaster, superman ride of steel which is not capitalized becuase it doesn't deserve to be!!!!! The battle was fun but it is pretty fair to say tht you are the loser and that is why before I called you a loser. I was hoping you would have gotten the picture after the second time I called YOU a loser!

You’re only 15 years only Nitro?  I never would have guessed you where that young based on your last extremely mature post (end of sarcasm).

It is difficult to read trip reports that contain Internet slang, bad spelling, and really long paragraphs.  I assume you want people to read and enjoy your reports, otherwise you wouldn’t be posting them.  Intamin fan was just trying to give you some helpful advice.

Nitro230, despite the grammar, nice report. That always stinks when you leave late and are forced to get less time in the park than you could have had.

Intamin Fan, why don't you leave the moderating to the moderators?

Hey Nitro I don't care how you type or what your grammar is like. That's up to you to do and a moderator to deal with. I do think you should ride the SROS coasters before laying into them though. This is the second thread where you have done that. If you have ridden one or all of them put them in your track record. Hey if we can't use internet slang is it okay to constantly abbreviate ride and park names? This is done to save time and space, but wait...isn't that the purpose of internet slang as well? Ah the catch 22, the worlds most frustrating ride. Nitro230 keep on coasting and keep on posting. Hey is it okay to rhyme like that? "Can't we all just try to get along?"
