Greased Lightnin' in Nor Cal a little longer... Th

How about putting it in storage at SFA,then shipping it down to PKD? I'd like to see the Kobra make a second appearance but as we all know that'll never happen. :(

It was mentioned above about the other two shuttles,Katapul & golden loop,as we all know Katapul was once PKD's King Kobra before a brief stop over at AT as Thunderlooper,Golden loop wouldn't happen to be White lightnin from Carowinds would it?

I think it will go to SFMM to fianally break the world record and be one up on CP

The park just asked that they not be released until the ride leaved SFMW

So they have already left SFMW and are headed to???? With the some of the parks opening now and the others being watched - hopefully it will not be long until the mystery is solved.

I would think that EV might be the best bet for this ride.

What would SFMM want with an old shuttle looper that is expensive to maintain? I'm sure if they wanted an extra coaster to break the tie then they'd just go with B&M or intamin again.
Yep it's White Lightening

BATWING - the precedent for resurrecting a "expensive to maintain" Schwarzkopf shuttle was already set by Six Flags when they added SFOG's old Viper to SFKK. I dont' see why they wouldn't use Tidal Wave at one of their smaller parks.

The best argument against putting Tidal Wave at SFMM is that Knott's already has a better version in the flywheel-launched Montezooma's Revenge.

Moosh - who still thinks it will be used for parts at SFKK.

'Moosh, you are *probably* right, but I curse you for even suggesting that we'll be losing another Anton shuttle-looper. Parts probably makes the most sense, but it does very little for my sense of nostalgia...I'd rather see it run overseas, even if I never got the chance to ride it again...

Would you just LOOK at what you've done to CoasterBuzz - you're going to have to clean it up ;)

I hope I'm wrong, too, Gator.

Maybe they'll send it to Carowinds so all of the whiners will shut up. Some people are spoiled rotten, I tell ya...

True that, they could just send Lightnin up here to PA so we can get rid of Whirlwind.

MarimbaGuy, who's not complaining about lack of new rides per se, just about the rides we already have. ;)

Actually, MG87, I think GL would be a great addition to Knoebels ;)

It should go to SFGAm. That way they can be home to most shuttle coasters in the world, along with the most inverts. And besides this park is missing a Schwarzkopf looper. Also this ride could fill that empty space where the Power Dive was.
Carowinds will never get White Lightnin' or its sisters back, they are too dum.

Not to dash your hopes too badly, imissshockwave, but Power Dive's plot is way too small to accomodate Lightnin' Wave. Not to say they couldn't fit it in somewhere else, or that I would be opposed to such a move. But, seriously, what do you think the chances are that we'll get the twin of a coaster we already got rid of?

Yes, they are MagnumForce. Two of the four in existence (the others being Katapul at Hopi Hari and Golden Loop at Gold Reef City).

Or perhaps raise one of them a bit and place it horizontally...Lightning Loops: The Sequel?
