A friend of mine actually wanted to buy Drachen Fire when it was "for sale" several years ago. I seriously thought he might do it (he could have afforded to I bet). Now that is something I would have wanted in my back yard (drool.....).

It's official Lesourdsville Lake is closed for 2003
If Knoebels doesn't grab that (I heard Dick likes to find good deals on used rides) Williams Grove would be a nice park for it. Thats a scary though thogh considering how bad of shape the Cyclone is!

Nashville needs a theme park!

I just know that there's a park out there that could afford to buy that wonderful little coaster and give it a new home, right?Right?
Maybe Dick Knoebel (or John Fetterman) is listening... they could certainly use a kiddie coaster to round out their park's collection!
That has been my thought ever since I heard of Hillcrest's closing. Knoebels would make a perfect home for it, a Jr woodie would fit in perfectly woth the park's family friendly atmosphere.

Little A'Merrick'A has been looking for a cheap wooden coaster...
I have a feeling that this park will grab this coaster. Its not that far from Hillcrest to move it, and the manager of Little-A-Merrick-A stated that he was interested in building a jr. wooden coaster to start out. I don't see this park passing up this opportunity at this price.
