If I had 35K, I would buy that in a minute.

Is this the Schmeck/PTC coaster at Hillcrest? $35K is a ridiculously low price for this thing. I hope I come accross an opportunity like this when I'm financially able and ready to open my own park.

Kennywood might be able to afford a new ride next year after all ... *wishful thinking*

Shoot, 35K.....if only Thee Swamp had more land, and some better financial backing....;)

I sincerely hope someone sees this coaster for the opportunity it's presenting...ohhh, Kent.....

Wow, that's cheap...

I just know that there's a park out there that could afford to buy that wonderful little coaster and give it a new home, right?

Right?

Maybe Dick Knoebel (or John Fetterman) is listening... they could certainly use a kiddie coaster to round out their park's collection!

Gee...I wonder how much it would cost to move and rebuild it? ;)

I'd rename it "Cutie Pie" ;)

Well Coney Island Cincinnati could sure use a woodie even if it is a Jr Woodie. Would be far better than that piece of crap Galaxie they have now.

Chuck, who sez this coaster looks alot like Strickers Grove's Teddy Bear

Little A'Merrick'A has been looking for a cheap wooden coaster...

Word is that both Little A-Merrick-A and Quassy were seriously looking at this ride. I don't know what the status is on it now, however.

Charles:

I believe that Stricker's Teddy Bear was pattered after the Little Dipper design that PTC produced numerous times in the 1950s.

It is definitely the PCT from Hillcrest. Also for sale on that site is the park's Carousel.

The coaster can be observed at the RCDB
In one of the pictures you can see the Carousel that is for sale here.

I want it!!! Anybody else wanna put in a few bucks? If we pool our resources... ;)

And I think I'm adding it to my track record...I went with a friend to her dad's work picnic sometime in the mid-eighties and remember riding a little coaster that looked just like that.

Wish Coney Island Cincinnati would add this ride. They have the room and could even put where the Teddy Bear once sat.
TAER IT DOWN!!!!!!!!

And then put it back up at Knoebels where Whirlwind used to stand.

At least I can hope...

Only 35K for a woodie? Is that cheaper than that escort Moosh wants for his 40th birthday?

I'll contact the CPC. Wait, surely Thunderfun must be seeing the "track signal" shining on the sky.

It's a used coaster...

It's cheap & affordable...

It's old...

Hey, that sounds like all the coasters that The Great Escape has aquired!

I think we found the next park that's picking up this little gem!!! :)
