Have you ever known for fact that a ride is going to be built at a specific park before it was announced? For the first time in my life, I do, and it feels kinda nuts, frankly. for the first time, somebody on the inside has leaked something to me, and i have seen the pictures myself. Crazy, huh?

what park ( or state ) is it going to ravenguy. come on you can tell us :). I usually never get the luck of knowing where something is going before it is announce unless it is genre knowledge.

Who was at BGW on April 28th.
I knew aboot the Big Wood, Big Loopy, and Stand Up Crazy Lim ride that was going in at SFGL in 2000. Thrillerman told me in 1999. Only the Stand Up Crazy Lim turned out to be Susan.

It's funny cause I pictured V2 at SFMW in it's exact location a whole year before it was announced. I also have some information on SFMM in 2002 which I will sit on...

I get to limited parks, like for example I just got to go to Cedar Point, but I do ride my Hurricane almost weekly and go to BGW, et cetra a few times per year, I never ask "what's coming", have befriended like two workers in parks that aren't ride ops, but I, too have been blessed with one of these rumors (actually it's a fact) but the person who told me trusted me, told me knowing I could come here (the net) and I promised not to say anything about it, not to be rude and play guessing games with anybody, but I feel if someone gives you info and you promise not to tell, you shouldn't:), in fact, those who know the most say the least:).......

I knew about Nitro In September(i wasn't a Cb member then) because my husbands company pours all the concrete footers and refurbishes sidewalks and any other concrete matter at SFGadv over the winter.I have seen tons of rumors but,like my husband says,i Should and will believe them when his job gets a call for a pour and usually they know by August because Gadv orders months in advance to be sure they get priority deliveries.

I am not doubting you but,i won't get excited til they start building it whatever it is.I do realize that people who work in the offices know this stuff before my husband but,it is just better if i wait to hear from my husband because then i know it's definate since things can change.Sorry you thought i was doubting you I'd be thrilled if they added another coaster or,replaced one in particular(i'm guessing Viper is a Definate goner) next year,i live 25 minutes from the park.

Hey, I know the scoop on all the major parks for next year. For a fair price I'd be willing to let any of you in. :)
Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Maybe you know something and maybe you don't, but either way a rumor is only that until some sort of official announcement is made. But I wonder if the reverse of Jeff's statement is true...those who tell don't know. :)

that is the same here glitch. I live about an hour away from indiana beach and often go there a lot throughout the summer. I talked to a whole bunch of people and none of them really knew or wanted to tell me. One guy told me there was going to be a rollercoaster in 2003 and a huge epcot thing in 2015 but that was all i ever got out of anyone. I think though since indiana beach isn't corporate ran than it is a lot harder for thing to leak out.
you never know about six flags. they could take profits that should go to other of there parks and add three more rollercoasters just to show to cedar point they are here. I think six flags is jacking there other deserving parks by doing this but they are trying to make a point to cedar point :)
I was tipped off about the Hoosier Hurricane before it was announced by a park employee. Although it was ready a year earlier than what I was told.
