"Goliath" for S.F.O.Gerogia?

I kinda figured that will be the name, either that or titan. Looking at the layout (not bragging just saying) the supposed entrance was something like the goliath SFMM, it was kinda a round circle with a path leading to the station.

There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!

Well I'm glad. That's complete confirmation and name right there.

This will be wonderful for me. Ride the Hypercoaster, walk across the lane and play DDR MAX2, followed by more Hypercoaster rides. Add Batman and Mindbender and I never even have to venture to Cotton States.

I'm gonna be laughing really hard when the name turns out to be Titan.
I will hit SFoG next year. I should be a little closer south by then :).

At least the layout we've seen seems to be much different than Goliath, Titan, Raging Bull.

Is anyone able to describe it if we arent able to view it yet? Should look absolutely awesome going right out the park, if thats what it does?

Oh no...Six Flags might be recycling a name! Its a good thing Cedar Fair, Paramount, or Disney would never try something like that...

It may be different than Goliath, Titan, and Raging Bull, but it seems stunningly similar to Nitro.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!

I could care less if they call it RC-48, LOL...just so it's a good ride, hopefully with at least ONE spot of solid un-trimmed ejector air.

If that turns out true, I'll be thrilled (underground tunnels are always a big plus as well). If not, it still means fewer people in line for *My-ndbender*...

On a B&M Hyper?

LOL Gonch...that's what I was thinking, too. I've been on all three B&M hyper/speed coasters. They're fast...they're fun...and they've engineered and/or trimmed the extreme air right outta them ;)

edit - all three U.S. rides. Word from the ACE Europe trip is that Silver Star is heavily trimmed as well.

With my stop at SFGAm this year I have all 3 of the U.S. ones under my belt as well.

Extreme air or ejector air and B&M hyper do not go together.

That's not to say these are bad rides. I still ride Nitro everytime I'm at SFGAdv, same with Apollo or Raging Bull.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to get to Georgia for this too. Who knows? Maybe B&M will surprise.

EDIT - redid this post as I just noticed it got cut short the first time and made no sense - well, less sense than normal.

"Yes, that is a B&M Speed Coaster under my belt and no, I'm not happy to see you." ;)

Guess I didn't say that quite right...maybe I shoulda put the word "hopefully" in all caps.....;)

Trust me, I *know* not to expect any ejector air on any B&M, hyper or otherwise...but then again, there was that ONE night on Apollo when the floats were SO powerful I almost caught a "tummy-tickle"...and I'm not even Elmo! :)

SFOG doesn't *have* to buy anything from Intamin to get solid ejector air...Premier could do it! ;)

Silverstar was overengineered by Mack to have little to no airtime... then they tossed trims at the crest of the 2 hills after the first drop! At least, its long!. Mack wanted a family coaster, that's what they got. After all, Mack doesn't want any looping coasters at Europa Park, since they're not family rides!

Does anyone have a link to see the blueprints for this ride?

Cedar Point The Amazement Park
I have a question on Nitro has it always been trimmed like that ?

I have never been on it when it isnt. I cant imagine it going any faster over the bunny hills. if it did that break at the end would kill your stomach.
