Goliath at SFH: First drop is up

The lift hill and first drop are done and man does this ride look small. But in the end height won't matter most likely since it will provide the air and thrills of at 200 foot ride

That's quite a drop for a mini-hyper. Come one SFMW...take a hint!

Looks like it's gonna be using the elevator lift like MF and Expedition GeForce.  Check out the wheels at the end of the lift on that last picture at sixflagseurope.com.

That looks like a killer ride.  Every park should have a fun, steel airtime machine.  (I'd kill for one of those in my backyard!)

It looks like a toy compared to a regular hyper.
It almost looks...dare I say..."cute."

Looks like it'll have TWO corkscrew hills as seen on the layout! It could pack a bigger punch than its taller cousins.
Funny how the layout has the same color scheme as its taller cousins. lol

Size means nothing for coasters.  SD2K and MF are tame compared to some smaller coasters, wood or steel.

The support structure for the lift hill helps to emphasizes the size of the ride, it would look probably taller if it had the box supports found on other Intamin hypers. anyways, it seems to have a pretty intense layout so never underestimate a coaster even if it does look "cute". How tall is it, anyways, 150 feet?

Looks like a great airtime machine, almost a minnie S:ROS if you will. I guess that is what it is though lol.

I will vouch that the tubular supports make a coaster look littler then it really is.  Maggies, lift hill looks huge, while Raging bulls looks tiny in comparison.

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

Looks great, but why green and black colors for a ride named Goliath?

"enough is enough"-?

those quick little low to the ground truns look wicked! I think this ride look awesome. now all we need is a 200 foot clone of this ride and it would make another awesome S:ROS!

Why not?  What colors would you suggest for a coaster named Goliath?

Orange and Teal? Hehe ;)

Wow, how about that ending. You can tell it's another Stengle thing... perfect arcs and circles everywhere. I really like that size is being somewhat de-emphasized these days. I think that, just as CCI has shown us that size ain't everything, the same trend could follow with steel coasters.

Holy lord does that look incredible!  What a fantastic design!  The ending is sure to be incredible.

About the size thing...I kind of agree, except you can still make a coaster with that layout and have it 200' in the air.  :)

How about those helices right on the lake?  Why are the Swiss firms *so damn good*?
