I have gone alone to (Sfgadv) at least 4 times this year and, It is very boring standing in the queues by yourself. I have kids so, when my husband is home I take advantage of some time to myself by going to the park but, Like I said, even though I enjoy the coasters, It isn't as much fun as when you go with friends or other enthusiasts.

My family (mostly mom and dad) understand how much I love parks, so they usually let me stay late. We were supposed to leave Kennywood at around 7, ended up leaving when the park closed because my mom couldn't get enough of the wooden coasters.
I did kinda plan on her being addicted to them.;)

I would disagree with part of that. Going alone just isn't as fun as going with friends. I would honestly rather go late and leave early with my friends, than go alone and stay all day. The interaction with other people is what makes coasters truely fun. Of course, if you want the best of both worlds, find another enthusiast to go with you.
And if you want the best of ALL THREE WORLDS, find a fine looking female enthusiast to go with you! :-)

I just *really* dont like being at a park solo for too long. I'm also not a real big 'power rider' (save mini-marathons on S:ROS@SFA). The reason I have such a soft spot in my heart for parks is that I used to go to them every year with my family. When I'm not with them at the parks, something seems missing and I'd rather just leave (my folks are riders too :)).
