GL's Park Map now posted

Check it out everybody, pretty nice looking. Looks like the same people to do this is the same people to do CPs maps(obviously). My question is does CF do their maps in house or do they contract an outside firm to do it.

That's even crappier than CP's map! The SFWoA map was much nicer.

On the GL rides page it lists what rides are upcharged attractions (go-carts, and swan boats) but it doesn't list the sky coaster as an upcharge attraction.

I believe this was just a misprint, but it would be really cool if it was a normal ride and not an upcharge!

I'm suprised the South gate is still listed.

Interesting to see what they are doing with the sea world ride area, and the new bridge.

Dominator even has the B&M dip! :)

My thoughts exactly.....I'm no CF fanboy, but have always thought their maps were very nice. I still buy a large map every year at CP to keep. Almost every park used to have those, SF included....I have a large collection of maps dating back through the 60s (and back to the teens with CP) that my family purchased. why is dominator still blue? why is raging wolf bobs back to brown, why is americana yellow?

Hmm... Dominator is shown in blue, just like Batman was the previous years...
Raging Wolf Bobs is shown in the ordinary brown wood color.

Does that mean that Dominatrix... I mean Dominator... has been painted to erase the Batman image, or is that just a generic coaster image? Anyone notice who drives by the park?

I honestly don't care for the map... Everything just seems so cramped & squashed together. It also looks very plain & simple. Although it has a similar tone to what Cedar Point's has... I'm not too fond of it. I liked how detailed Worlds of Adventure's was.

Also what throws me off is the angle they're showing the park at. Looks like either they moved the Starfish ride, or they're not going to open it up since the park is closed off to the section where it'd be at... not to mention also the Chinese buffet restaurant.

One thing that also stands out is how the floating board-walk is now in the same location it was back in 2001. Kind of ironic, dontchya think?

With the bad name of the coasters and the crappy map, this is going to be one horrible park! *SARCASM*

I don't think the map looks bad.

Is it me or did they move the floating bridge? looks like it goes from the Skycoaster to the Swing Ship on the former animal side? I guess that may help the flow of people since that plath along the back of RWB is long, narrow and rather dull.

Its weird seeing B:KF named "Dominator" and superman named "steel venom." that will take some getting used to.

The bridge is being moved.

To clear up some things up south gate will only open if its extremely busy or for private outings. The park ends at the ski stadium, anything past that towards the road will not open, this includes starfish, bees, the buffet. Dominator has not been repainted(no rides will be repainted this season) it is still yellow, thats the image from SFWoA's map. What you see is what you get, if its not shown on the map(half the south side) it will not be open this season.

This is slightly off topic, but how do you pronounce Geauga Lake?
