Glasses on Coasters

I lost my glasses while waiting in line! the little screw that tightens the frame to hold the lens in worked its way loose and popped out. The screw flew into oblivion and the lens narrowly missed landing in the path of an oncoming bumper car. I ended up going to first aid to get a piece of bandage tape to hold the lens in. I don't want to think about what would have happened if the screw came out while riding a coaster. Moral of the story: Be careful riding if you have a few screws loose.
I didn't have a problem with my glasses on MF when I was riding in the third car, but once I rode in the front car, I had to reach up and push them back on a few times. I can't see how you could keep contacts in when riding the front seat of MF. There is SO MUCH WIND, it's incredible. I know mine would've flown out had they been in.

I never had a problem with any of the ride ops telling me to remove my sunglasses while riding cedar points coasters. BUT soak city is another story, i was getting ready to go down one of the smaller slides and while i was waiting to go down, the lifeguard told me to take the glasses off and hold them. I had a strap on them too.
Funny thing was i almost dropped them going down the slide, i thought they would have been more secure on my head.
My dad's glasses flew off on the beast during the helix. I took off my earrings to ride OL:FOF, otherwise, I've had no trouble. I don't wear dangly earrings to the parks.
