Way wrong, you can build up to just over 600 feet. That is when it says too high.

At the end of the lift of the "gigacasoter" you can select a cable lift. Just like there real thing there is a lift sled which travels down the hill, attaches and pulls the train. The speed is exactly on too, it comes down fast then slowly parks itself, attaches to the train, then slowly start out and gets going. Awesome! Just sow you know you don't start out building a regular chain lift, it won't go to 45 degrees. You just have to build a hill without and at the top, under special select the cable lift and it will work.

The track itself is all right. You can build those sexy curved Intamin parabolic hills which makes it look really sleek. Also it goes up to 300 feet. There seems to be no near vertical drop though and no overbanks, although you can bank the turns up and down so it sort of looks like them.

Yes the cable lift can go up to a 45 degree angle you just have to slope the hill to a 25 degree angle and select lift there at the top and have the cable lift top on it. The cable lift will automatically transform the the hill into a lift. If you guys play aroudn a bit you will find out about neat things in the game.

Is the speed coasters travel in RCT2 realistic with the first drop. I know in the original it was way off. I had a 212 ft. drop that reached 94 mph. I couldn't imagine what a giga would have produced. Just wondering if that has been corrected for RCT2.

Without adding elevated land you can build the giga to 400 ft, if you start bumping the land you can go higher.

RIP Shockwave

How steep can you make drops on the giga?

Are hypercoasters and giga coasters different options in the game?

Try reading before you post. They've been discussing the drop dilemma for a while now. As for question 2, I don't know, I don't have the game.

87 different coasters for this year and counting... 149 total!

"Giga-coaster" in the game just means Intamin sitdown. You can build hypers and/or gigas with the Intamin.

"Hypercoaster" is the Morgan/Arrow[magnum] version that was in the last game.

The gigas go up to about 425 feet and the observation tower goes to 600 feet.

I asked how steep not how high.

We know. They've been talking about how steep for some time now.
