Getting to Know You

I had an idea for posting a thread where we could all post our own personal webpages (like myspace) so we can get to know others in the coaster community. Like putting faces to names. I didn't post it in the general board because its not amusemnt park related and would have gotten locked. Where can I post a topic like this? Or should I just not post it at all and just rely on people putting their webpage links on their profile here. It was just a thought....

Awesome, I'm glad this has been thought of already. I think this would be a more personal way to get to know members and become a tighter community.

many of us keep the link in our signatures. I've learned a lot about various buzzers that way.

I met those young arrogant bastards a couple of weeks ago. I got invited to their party at Mix06, but didn't go because Microsoft's party the night before was enough alcohol for one month. But I heard the CTO got up on the bar and said, "We're hiring a million .NET developers!" It was like 1999 all over again, and I think they're headed the same way.

Based on some of the numbers I'm hearing for fresh bachelors job offers, it *is* like 1999 all over again.

We all know what happened after that bubble burst ...

The trends move so often and now that FOX owns MySpace, how long before it becomes "old news"?

My children use MySpace and it really scares me. Not the predator angle, but the pure commercialism.
