General topic.
Is there any chance that there can be a topic for stuff not related to coasters. I for one have a definate interest in things besides coasters. Its also always fun to talk about other things.

It has been asked before, and I believe the answer is no, as there are plenty of other places to talk non-coaster stuff on the internet.:)
Indeed, that's the stock response. This site is for discussing amusement parks -- there are plenty of other forums out there for every topic imaginable (and some you'd have never thought of on your own), so why clutter these boards?

It's a great idea for coaster sites that don't get that much coaster-related traffic...but this would not be one of them.
There are plenty of folks on the board who talk in real life, via instant messengers, on the phone, etc. Or they might keep up / stalk other people on blog forums. For that matter, one of the Stalkettes had me up 'till the wee hours yesterday...I just won't say which one. :)
BUT everybody does that on their own. Not here.

Well, unless you just want to take a topic that someone else started and change the conversation to whatever you want to talk about. That's the norm around here. ;-)
