Geauga "Traditional Family Park"

First, we all knew about Dorney getting rid of Hercules for a new floorless long before the sale of SFWoA to CF. There is no way CF will dismantle TCFKABKF. Besides, only Six Flags moves big rides between parks.

The main bottleneck areas, IMO, are....

1. The area between the log flume and Serial Thriller. I'm looking for either a removed or redesigned log flume to help open this area up.

2. The entire area formerly known as Looney Tunes Boomtown. They will have to remove Larger Than Life (big play area with the dry waterslides) to open up the area more.

3. The area just inside the gate where the fountain is. I can see a smaller fountain (like the ball fountain at CP by Kiddie Kingdom) replace it.

I would also like to see the park put in a new midway to wrap around Grizzly Run so that it's not just a dead end back there.

Just my 2 pennies.

X Factor

I like your suggestion of a redesigned log flume. Perhaps something more along the lines of what they have at The Great Escape, Knoebel's Grove, or Waldemeer's might attract new interest.

They need to tear that log ride down and start from scratch. In fact...they should have done that 10 years ago.
Anyone working in that FS depatment that would actually remember HOW to make GLP fresh cut fries, cheese one a stick, or the chili dogs have long left the park. Just note that ALL of the old GLP Foods and Gifts people are gone, don't expect anything like the old days out of those depts.
I agree meangene. If anything, this year will be most similar to Six Flags Ohio in 2000. No one should expect the old Geauga Lake days as it was under Funtime or Premier Parks.

Premier Parks are now Six FLags Inc. Unless CF cleans house, i would expect to see much of the same from the Retail Dept.
