The deal in which Cedar Fair, L.P. agreed to buy Six Flags Worlds of Adventure was a surprise to all but a very few people when it was announced Wednesday. The deal was developed over several months in secret talks designed to minimize any effect on the stock values of either publicly traded company.

You'd think that any good webmaster would have pulled that down already.
I find it a little sad these animals are going. Most of the public doesn't see this or know about it, but there was a huge educational program at SFWOA where schools and other groups came in on field trips and some even had sleep overs in Shark Experience. I had the pleasure of being with some of these kids last week and you could tell by the look in them it was one of the best experiences the've had.
LoL... Six Flags is hopeless... their website still says "Six Flags: Worlds of Adventure -- Now hiring for the 2004 season -- Opening May 1st."
While atthe supervisor orientation last week we were told that until the sale is final and signed we must operate like we're opening on May 1 as SFWoA. Business as usual we were told. In case the sale falls through we have to be ready to operate on opening day. So I'm sure that as soon as the line is sign that will be done with in a day.
SeaWorld was gone when Busch sold it. It was never even remotely the same after that, something evident to me when I visited SeaWorld in Orlando that year.
