Gamespot has posted a hands-on look at Ultimate Ride: Disney Coaster. The game will let players design, build, and ride a wide variety of roller coasters set in several different environments. A number of screen shots are available.

I have to agree with JCat! Ultimate Ride has been used MUCH more than No Limits on my system. Sure, I ride a lot of rides on No Limits. I have designed 4. I hate the editor...it is very complicated, and I rarely have more than a couple of hours that I can devote to building coasters. I have other things I have to do...like write music and play Morrowind! :)

In the time it takes me to build a coaster in No Limits, I can build 10 in Ultimate Ride. As far as user rides go, with few exceptions, like JCat, Gr8 1, and a few of the people that have been around since before UR was released to the GP, most people tend to make ultra fantasy coasters...which is fine, I just don't prefer them. I like more of the realistic design and tend to try to stick to them.

But that's ok. Both games are fun in their own way.

No Limits all the way! There is only one true way to design coasters and that's what No Limits gives you. Not that gay unorganized crap on Ultimate Ride. No Limits gives you a taste of the real deal and I love it! So if your serious about going out someday and making a career out of designing and biulding coasters, No Limits is the way to go.

By the way, Great Coasters International(GCI) told me that if i was serious, which I am, to learn how to use the AutoCAD program. The No Limits editor and the AutoCAD program are not too much different from each other. Just a tip from the best of the best. Thanks GCI!!!
