Gadv '06 Wooden using Viper's station?

From what it seems to look like in pictures I found here:http://amusementpics.com/2006%20Construction.htm, it seems as though they are using the station from Viper. So I'm guessing that this wooden ride would probably be western themed. Because I mean the whole ride is down and they took that down in like a week, and left the station. I think it's good because now they dont have to spend much money and time on a new station when they have the Viper station.

Any idea where viper is now?

I am glad we got lucky and were able to ride it last year in our first and only visit to this park. Granted, it was not the best ride I have ever been on but it was fun none the less.

I'm happy that they are keeping the best part of the ride, the queue and station. I didn't think the ride was AS BAD as people say, but I'd rather have a woodie too!

I think your gonna see the New Woodie Station house in RT infield with the Q heading out into the Golden Kingdom.

Is there a chance that the park is not getting a new woody, and instead useing the plug'n'play track design to retrack RT?

I mean, why build another woody when your old one isn't doing well?

I hope to see a new woody as much as the rest of you, but it doesn't make sense...Wait-This IS SF we're talking about here.

Is it even possible to reuse Vipers station? The Woody trains would have to be the same length as Vipers. Maybe?

I liked Viper. It was fun, but I understand 100% why it was ripped out of the ground. It will be really humorous to see if it reaches legendary status like DF.

The viper station is still standing. Also viper is in pieces so it will not be used again.

I heard B&M designed it, but SF decided to go with TOGO to finish it up. TOGO offered a better price, etc. It would have been a great ride, but they replaced the original Morgan trains with PTC's...which are heavier and damaged the track. (Just kidding).

How come the sign says a new attraction for 2005 when it should say 2006. Did they use the same signs from KK.

I was also thinking that Viper would be its name for the new woodie. I don't see why not, the ride is in the western part of the park, and it has western theme, so it makes perfect sense.

They will almost certainly go with a new name to avoid confusion in marketing.

Viper will never achieve the legendary status of Drachenfire. It wasn't comfortable, but it wasn't nearly as painful as Drachenfire.

The only problem I really had with Viper was the trains. Those restraints really did a number on my shoulders. It probably wouldn't have been nearly as bad with a different train design.

I like the station though. I hope they do re-use it for something. It sort of matches the architecture of Rolling Thunder's station.

I like the station for Viper also and hope they reuse it.
