"Why would anyone really want a stand-up inverted? I'm sure it's possible, but why? Parks are the ones who get the things, and why would they want a stand-up inverted? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of inverted? It is meant to have no floor, and you'd have to have one for a stand-up inverted (otherwise think of what the Gs would do to guys when your legs can't absorb them! OUCH!)"

What about a floorless coaster? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of an invert? I mean come on... They're using different techniques. Not one way is right for an effect you get. Floorless by inverted or floorless by... well, floorless. They're designed for there being no floor! So what makes it so bad to conjure up an inverted stand up? Nothing what-so-ever. Understand what I mean?

I like the sound of a standup inverted. It would have a totally different feel to it than anything else. I mean you would still see below your feet and everything, it would be like walking on air.

8 feet higher and a 6.5 feet longer drop, could never contest with a 80 degree, non-braking giga-coaster... Sorry, Steel Dragon 2000
Why do some people want a inverted standup. Tell me what the point it is. Nothing in my opinion. NO point at all. If standup coasters were still in style with the industry we would see more. No offense but explain why you would want one. And also isn't that why the floorless was created as it gives a better view than a inverted, I think so. I would still ride a inverted standup, but there is not real point. inverted coaster already go 90 degrees. Intamin ring a bell. V2 SUE Volcano. B&M is just slow as doing so.

Have you seen Deja Vu lately? Looks pretty vertical to me.

...he's talking about what B&M is going to come out with, not that other companies have already built something like that...he's trying to make predictions.
I think that the reason I would like to ride an inverted/stand-up is because an inverted gives you a diff. feel from hanging below the track, and you get a diff. feel from standing up, so comibining those would produce a brand new feel.

It could be one of the best coasters in the world, who knows. Or it could be a dud, then they won't build anymore. I think they could produce some awesome foot chopping effects with one.

Also, why would B&M not do it? If they can do it sucessfuly they WILL make money off it. They are a business, remember that. Seems like most people here forget that is their jobs, they're not here to make coasters for YOU as a hobbie, they are in it for the money, with a passion for it on the side.

Iron Wolf was built in 1990, not 1991. Just thought I would clear that up.

That shows how much you know about your own homepark.

I can see them developing some kind of tilt coaster if the ones from Giovanola and Vekoma prove to be a hit.
