Have any of you people had any good and funny ideas to do something for an on ride photo??? I always wanted to get a small paperback book and read it right by the on ride photo. Any other ideas???

On Woodstock Express, I put the back of my shirt over my head, raised my arms, and did my infamous Beavis face.

I tell ya, when I saw the picture I looked like a deer infront of headlights.

I've had two really good ones, but I didn't get to buy one of them

They both were 'accidents' also.

1st. My friend Jake just won a farmer straw hat @ a game. He wore that thing and it was pretty embarrassing. so we went on Spacely's Space Sprockets. When the picture came, I nudged his hat off. In the picture, you just see my hand up in the air, and Jake turned around trying to get his hat. WE both bought that one.

2nd. This was a GREAT one. On Logger's Run, Jake kept his Oakland A's hat on. Going down the drop, it flew off. In the picture, you can see the hat in the corner, and Jake had a hand on his head and looked confused. That one was awesome. :)

But I don't have any good ideas to do purposely. We've tried some, but they've been lame.

I am what you would call an artist in on-ride-photoing. I keep them in a poster frame in me room. Here is a short list of some that I have done:

Magnum- (Nick, Chris; Look as scared as possible, Nick looks dead)

The BOSS- (Nick, Chris, Cash; Give The Nipple)

Batman- (Nick; put your shirt over your head to cover your face; that is the most prominent of all of them. My brother and I started doing that back in '92)

Beast- (Dad, brother, brother's friend; Me and my dad act like we barf, brother and friend have shirts over their head)

Serial Thriller- (Thrillerman; Thrillerman's 2,000 ride of the season was with me; my most prized on-ride photo; we pointed out)

Millennium Force- (Nick; first ride on Force. Pure rollercoaster euphoria. International Sign of the Mullet is given;)

I have many more, but those are my favorite ones. The weirdest thing I ever saw was my brother and I actually took our shirts completely off on the Villain. We waived them around and put them back on when we arrived in the station. Thats a pretty good one too.

I had several friends who did the whole Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, Do No Evil on Raging Bull...I know its stupid, but it was cool when I saw it.

Havent you ever seen a picture of the 3 monkeys where one covers his mouth, another covers his eyes, and the other covers his ears? If you have that is probably what they were doing on the ride.

My girlfriend always puffs her cheeks out and puts two fingers over her mouth like she's gonna blow chunks. Some of those are pretty funny.

Somtimes we just act like its a very boring ride and just sit there with no expressions at all. Oh wait that was on Hercules at Dorney. :)

Rest your hand against your head and look like your asleep

Have one person throw a hook while the other looks like they got hit.

Stupid, yes, but fun also. The only ride I ever do this on is Mean Streak, it makes the trip more enjoyable :)

My husband and I kissed on the Mean Streak for that photo (we both bought it - we were engaged at the time), and also on the Mean Streak I held up a sign for some of my friends.

The funniest non-planned one was on Mantis: I was riding with a friend of mine that has very long, almost black hair. She had her hands up, thrilled expression and all, and me, I had my arms on the armrests acting completely bored, with her hair completely covering my face. She bought it - I said why bother? I'm not really in the picture! :)

My friends and I always try to look like we are absolutely terrified. If it's funny enough, I will buy the picture. Some of the ones I have look hilarious.
Although my Halloween mask frightened young children watching the monitors, it was rather hilarious when a friend "read" a newspaper on Vortex at KI!

An unnerving stillness in the woods of southern Indiana beckons for you on May 11th.....
Nick and I brought Halloween masks to SFGL one day last year. Much to our dismay, none of the on ride photos were on.

I have done the Halloween mask thing at Disneyland, on Flash... umm... I mean Splash Mountain. I had a skull mask, other friends had a Gene Simmons (with tongue), Uncle Fester and an old man (kung-fu looking old man, like Master Roshi from Dragonball Z) It was hilarious. Sadly, none of us wanted to cough up the dough for the pic, oh well.
