Fun Spot chooses contractors to build $20 million expansion in Orlando

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

The amusement park will be renamed Fun Spot America, with thematic elements drawn from various aspects of American culture. The 15-acre expansion is to include four water rides, a wooden roller coaster, a steel family-style roller coaster, a new go-kart track, a new SkyCoaster, and numerous other rides.

If the one GCII out-n-back I've ridden, Prowler, is any indication....then :) :) :)

Damn, gator...that is twice in 2 days I've agreed 100%. :) I have not done as many coasters as a lot of you...but this (Prowler) is my all-time favorite (coaster) ride. It was dead the day we went. We just kept riding and riding. Laughing and flying out of our seats...sprinting down the ramp to do it again. That twisting out and back...low to the ground design is my idea of the perfect coaster. The pictures for this one look like it may be similar.

Just what I needed...another Orlando park I HAVE to do each trip. My average length of stay just keeps going up.
