FUN PLEX to Build NEBRASKA's Tallest Roller Coaster !

LOL, I just posted in the news item thread about this NE coaster being a clone of Scandia's Screamer...

westcoaster man, we got to ride Screamer during Solace, and everyone that had ridden it *in its glory days* was amazed at how poorly it was running. The trains definitely needed work BADLY, and the track wasn't in much better shape.

I really love the other *adult-sized* Milers, so I tend to think it's Screamer that has gone downhill more than my expectations being out of line....of course, the two Hi-Milers I've ridden in NJ and MO were WAY newer, so.... ;)

The Scandia Screamer was "ok".

Hey, at least Nebraska is getting a steel coaster. West Virginia doesn't even have one of those anymore.....:-(

Believe it or not, so is Beaver Stadium in State College PA when PSU has home games. It just edges out Erie and Allentown. But they have quiteaways to go to get to #2 (Pittsburgh).
Thanks rollergator for the heads up, sad to hear it's gone to hell, I haven't been down thereto ride the thing in years. I can totally see how it would be ruined if not taken care of properly, like I said it use to be a very wild ride. Hopefull they folks in Nebraska take good care of theirs, also I would of never imagined a ride like this would cost 2 million dollars. Is this 2 million dollar figure the cost of the coaster itself or does this include the cost of the coaster, the construction, and maybe a little themeing.
Given the times I have been to Fun Plex. ( I only live 5mins from there so have been there alot) I dont think they will do much themeing I would like to see them add more stuff to fun plex and possibly move locations so they can expand more but we will see.
