I notice it on the "recent" link. It's working more like a randomizer. I can click that link five different times and gets results listed in five different ways - all in seemingly no particular order.
It doesn't seem to be listing all the threads in chronological order for me.
Just me? Anyone else?
EDIT - but if I access each forum through the individual links "General Buzz", "News Discussion", and so on, the topic listings are fine.
Yep, it's been doing that for me all day (although I didn't notice the order was random upon refreshing). It seems like most of the threads with new posts are still on the first page... but if I jump to the end (page 2327) it's doing it there too.
I noticed that too, but kept my mouth shut on the likelihood that it was only my bunged-up PC making it so.

That is weird. Do you guys otherwise use the recent page regularly?

That is exceptionally weird. As you might guess, that code hasn't changed in years. If I run the query manually, it orders as expected. I'll have to do some digging.

OK, I made a fix that shouldn't be necessary, but it seems to have resolved the issue. The paging was right (you were looking at the last 20), but they were out of order. Weird.

Seems to be fixed.
Thank you muchly, sir. I did not care for the CoasterBuzz topic lottery.

Yeah, I pretty much *only* check the Recent page, a few times a day.
Same here.
Phew. I didn't want to say anything, either. I thought I was going crazy. It looks like it's working now, Jeff. Thanks.
I'm with Gonch, I'm bookmarked to recent, too.
Oh, and a thread title like 'Forum Weirdness'? A little ambiguous. Around here, that could mean a number of different things... ;)

Yeah, but so could:
"Forums Behaving Badly"
"Forums Gone Wild"
and
"WTF is this crap!?"
In context, "Forum Weirdness" is the most definitive. ;)
